Any of you guys ever played it? My father in law booked it without asking. Assuming he wanted to pay a little less, as I wanted to play the Grand Bear. Is it decent?

small humpback greens but you can beat it almost anywhere and still get to the greens. Not great but not a POS.

what you would think of a typical course from the 50s or 60s. It is a fun course to play. Of course you can't compare it to a casino course, but it is kept in very good shape for it's age. Played there 2 weeks ago, greens were VERY fast, but then again we have had alot of rain since then.

unless your father-in-law is a member. Grandbear does a twilight rate on the weekends in the summer, I think $45 after 3:00? It may just beon Sundays. Sunkist isfine and would be a nice course in most places in Mississippi, butyou should reallytry to play the Bear, Preserve, or Bridges while you're down here. Or even Winddance, which is in good shape now.

To me, Windance is one of the best courses on the coast. They can set it up to be very player friendly, or they can set it up to where it is a serious challenge to even top level players.

You attempted to play 2 weeks ago. I saw you sending the squirrels and mockingbirds flying out of the pines...
