You probably can find Lawrence Welk clips somewhere on the internet to entertain you.
Perhaps I'm getting older, but this halftime show is a total dud for me. Musicians I don't listen to, and would never go to see.
posts about commercials. There is an entire thread devoted to Super Bowl commercials
I don’t need the Lawrence Welk show to entertain me, I just need some normal entertainment. This half time show was garbage.

Um, you guys aren't the target audience. My wife and kids love it.
Everyone we are with absolutely loved it (me included).
Is that any different than a a football player pumping his chest or whatever they do after a first down or some play or heck even a touchdown? Is just a gesture like any other.
It could have been better, and I was actually hoping it would have been better. I was expecting better, and I was excited to see these artists, all of whom I have been big fans of.
Should have had that show 10,15, or even 20 years ago.
But I gotta say, that show got the exact reaction from the TMB board that I expected
I’m old as dirt and listen to classic rock. However, the show was well done, energetic and entertaining. You gotta love that 50 year old Snoop Dogg.
It is always a "cool" thing to complain about the half time show

but if you don't like the music, you don't like the music...no issue there. The show itself was great for those who do, especially for those who recognize Dre's influence upon the entire industry (and upon the careers of many who appeared with him tonight).
imho this was by far superior to any halftime shows consisting of anything that can be labeled as "pop" music...but that seems to be because of our different music preferences, not because of anything about the performances themselves.
