With the PAT, it's 23-20, Rams, with 1:25 left in the game.

Bengals, can you answer?

Collinsworth comment about not seeing a better combo forgot about Big Ben against the cardinals

There will be a noticeable paucity of flags against LA on this final drive.

4th & 1 for Cincy, and an incomplete heave as Burrows is being sacked by Aaron Donald

Rams will win, 23-20

In a odd moment Aaron Donald put on a hat that said “Alabama -National Champions”.

The call on the CINCY LB on 3rd and long was the game changer. The referees missed calls all night, but to call a hold where there was no holding giving the Rams a fresh set of downs was the game changer. This refereeing unit was not very good at all.

A Wal-Mart National Championship. The Rams owner is a Sam Walton son-in-law.

The quality of the refs in the NFL and college football has declined drastically in the past 10 or so years. This game wasn’t any different.

1. Refs swallowed their whistles all game and then called a garbage type call on third and long.....Just interjected themselves into the ending of the game on an extremely ticky tack call at best.
2. Still confused about the double penalty. They called the hit a dead ball foul, but yet it happened before the WR established himself in the endzone, not sure he even ended up coming down in bounds.
3. Not only was the third and 2 play call on Cincy's last drive bad, but the deep ball the play before was soo predictable and wasted a down as well.

I agree. The average income of an NFL referee is about $200K per year. After uncle sam takes its cut what’s left, maybe $130k? I often wonder if they lay a little action on games?

Technically, I think there were 4 penalties before that point in the game. As I indicated in a prior post, I think the defensive holding call on 3rd & goal was BS.
It was, but it evened things out as far as I was concerned. In any event, what a great NFL playoff year this was.

Technically as I was drinking the ‘no’ count was the Royal ‘ no’. Kinda like the royal ‘we’. Like ‘we’ are gonna have to dig this ditch. Son. Lol

I think Sam Walton was Ann Walton's (the wife of Rams' owner Stan Kroenke) uncle. Her father was James Lawrence "Bud" Walton. Bud was the brother of Sam Walton. Ann Walton is quite wealthy, but the estimated wealth of Bud's children (Ann and Nancy) is considerably less than the estimated wealth of Sam's children (Jim, Rob, & Alice).
