It was the best damn super bowl i ever have seen in my young 36 years.
I'm dubious.

Edelman really impressed at his pro day workout in the Kent State Field House. Edelman ran a 4.51 second 40-yard dash, which would have topped all quarterbacks at the NFL Scouting Combine in February and placed him in the top 15 among receivers. Edelman's times of 3.91 seconds in the short shuttle and 10.74 in the long shuttle would have been the fastest times recorded at the Combine, regardless of position. NFL people asked him to run the short shuttle again because they didn't believe the number and Edelman actually ran it even faster the next time.

In re: "deflate gate"

I saw a stat that said from 2000-2006 the Patriots fumbled the ball on average every 42 touches. In the offseason between the 2006 and 2007 seasons, the rules changed to allow teams to provide their own balls. Since then the Patriots have only fumbled every 74 touches.

Maybe it is just coincidence, and I will admit I have not seen the numbers for the other 31 teams in the league. But that stat on its own is pretty strong evidence. They nearly cut their fumbles in half once they were allowed to start providing their own footballs.

Hmmmm... now that could get interesting, depending on the stats for the other teams.

This is similar to the UNC**** situation, though... won't matter to NE... the Lombardi Trophy is theirs, now.

It's going to be interesting for sure, and I really don't think we are far from done with this. On one side, you do have this report that only 1 of the balls was severely under-inflated, which could very well just be a faulty product.

But on the other hand, you have Ravens players talking about how they thought something was fishy as well. Unfortunately, you just can't trust The Patriots, Kraft, Belichick and even Brady. They have cheated in the past, and many think they still were cheating after spygate. And now this...

I hope they fry.
