I got the CD. It's pretty good. Have always liked his voice. He sang the National Anthem at one of the World Series games in Atlanta and was one of the better I've ever heard.

Not a huge fan, but would indeed enjoy this if it comes to fruition.
It's so nice once again to see the Athletic Department heading in a new direction and doing things right for the first time in all of our lives.

I saw him open up for Brad Paisley a couple of weeks ago, and he was really good. I still refuse to call him anything besides Hootie though.

Not because I'm a huge Hootie fan (I feel the same way, he's still Hootie to me), but because they may be picking up my roommate as their steel guitar player. Unfortunately for him, they haven't made their minds up about taking a steel on the road. That'd be cool, though...

Went to see Hootie and the Blowfish at the Omni New Daisy in Memphis in '94 or '95 and it was 3/4 full of Ole Miss people. Between songs, Darius said, "How many people here are from Ole Miss?" And the crowd started cheering and generally acting like idiots. He looked around on stage and said, "Well, there are 4 of us up here, I think we can get 7 more people from the audience and go down to Oxford and kick Ole Miss' ***...y'all SUCK!" I was with a few fellow Bulldogs and we laughed like hyenas the rest of the night at how most people there automatically hated Hootie from that point forward.
