The death of Renee Nicole Good has been widely described as a sudden and shocking event. It should not be described that way. Good had been immersed for weeks in an organized activist network explicitly dedicated to disrupting federal immigration enforcement. That network, operating under the name ICE Watch, does not merely observe or document law enforcement activity. It trains participants to interfere physically, to refuse lawful commands, to block vehicles, to use their own vehicles as tools of obstruction, and to create scenes designed to generate viral outrage. This is not incidental to the movement. It is central to its strategy.

There are hundreds of traffic stop videos where the perpetrator takes off after being stopped and the police have to jump out of the way or are bumped. You know how many of the officers fired? Zero.

Criminals don't lie ever to Law Enforcement ?

Story; NJSP on Turnpike , I get radio call to check on traffic jam on 3 lane section. I travel there on shoulder for about 5 miles, stop and go.

I get to the front of the jam and there is one car, weaving over ALL 3 lanes, with everyone afraid to pass.
I get out and have all 3 lanes stop ! Then I run the car down. I see a guy barely looking over the wheel, window down, Clearly a Drunk barely awake.at the wheel .

I reach inside the open window and put the car in Park on the column. My wristwatch band breaks on the column. I reach in and pull the drunk driver out thru the open window, drag him onto the grass berm. He struggles and I give him a few pops, handcuff him, and move the car to the shoulder.

Trucker yells over to me; "Hit him a few times for me Trooper ! I've been following him for 10 miles !"

He should have let her go. They had the information needed to have her arrested.

Here is the DOJ policy on deadly force

Firearms may not be discharged solely to disable moving vehicles. Specifically, firearms may not be discharged at a moving vehicle unless: (1) a person in the vehicle is threatening the officer or another person with deadly force by means other than the vehicle; or (2) the vehicle is operated in a manner that threatens to cause death or serious physical injury to the officer or others, and no other objectively reasonable means of defense appear to exist, which includes moving out of the path of the vehicle. Firearms may not be discharged from a moving vehicle except in exigent circumstances. In these situations, an officer must have an articulable reason for this use of deadly force.
