I've had that thought, but pretty tough to do in reality. My wife likes to work, she would never want to do it. I'm the main income provider, so I can't do it.

It's too bad a lot of parents feel this way. I know I'm not alone in having little faith in the public schools. Private schools have their own issues, and are pretty expensive out here.

It would be nice if the schools would put 100% of their focus on what actually matters. Instead, we have a bunch of kids that can barely read and write.

I think that’s a misrepresentation of what “people” said. Overall the rank and file members of the FBI just want to do a job. There are some corrupt agents. The issues with the FBI lie more in Washington. One of the reasons RDS wanted them moved out of DC and somewhere in the midst of the Heartland.

I disagree. I think the people you speak of are fully aware of what the leaders in Minnesota will push for from the people they put in charge of investigating. We can save everybody the time and say they think he is guilty of murder.

I wrote on how the child care racket is being funded AND stolen tax payers money in the millions, at each location.


Here is another.

Somalian person wants to visit a Doctor, for whatever. Person legal or illegal claims that they won't understand English at the Doctor's office. No matter how long their time in the USA.

Minnesota law requires that a multi-linguist in Somali and English be present.
Salary requirement minimum is 8 hours salary, no matter the length of the appointment.

They claim that they have no way to make the appointment.

A car service picks up everyone, waits thru the appointment, delivers them to their respective homes.
I don't have the allowable minimum hours billed, but I'm sure it's excessive.

100,000 Somalis that claim no English adds up!

I have no problem with this as long as there is a free exchange of information between the two

He wasn't hit by the vehicle and all the shots were taken after any danger had passed. Pretty hard to make a self defense claim.

I agree, that would be ideal. Not surprising the Trump admin doesn’t want to cooperate with a state that is doing everything to not cooperate with the feds, though.

Videos show the car made contact with him. Not acknowledging that makes it tough to have a reasonable discussion about the situation. The other officer was contacted by the car too.

Horrible situation, and it was entirely avoidable. I think it’s fair to say everyone involved made mistakes. But acting like the woman did nothing wrong does not lead to a fair conversation about it.

The woman did nothing to deserve being killed. The officer placed himself in a dangerous position and started drawing his gun while she was in reverse. He could have easily gotten out of the way but decided to shoot instead. Whether there was contact with the car or not, it was a homicide. Calling her a finng bitxh after he snuffed her out is certainly a good look!
If you believe it is a justifiable shooting, then if ICE agents are driving their vehicles at protesters, then protesters can shoot them as well. Stand your ground and fire

Yes, I would support someone shooting an officer if the officer was driving at them. But I wouldn’t advise it, because that someone would also end up dead.

I said I think everyone made mistakes. You seem to be putting 100% of it on the officer. I don’t see it the same way.

It would be great if leaders would tell people that harassing and antagonizing officers is a bad idea. They have a very difficult job, and harassing them will sometimes lead to a bad outcome. But people live in a fantasy world where there is no consequences to being an *******. It’s not reality.

I was never a CFO, but the fiscal side of Minnesota is where I am concerned. The media is all over the bone of this shooting and some people are falling for it. Like Rill said, there will be problems if people keep messing with law enforcement. The problems are what the sponsors of this harassment want.

What exactly did she do? She was blocking one lane of traffic. Cars were going past her. An ICE agent told her to move. She replied 'I am pulling out". Then another ICE vehicle told her to stop. Two of the agents exited the vehicle and were trying to open her door which was an illegal search and seizure. The third agent walked around the vehicle and stopped in front of it violating police protocol.

She was a legal observer and was not interfering with any operation. She was friendly with her encounter with the shooter. She was going to leave the scene. In the context of the situation, the only thing she did was commit a misdemeanor traffic offense for which ICE had no jurisdiction.

She blocked the road. Her wife got out of the car, and recorded officers as she antagonized them. She disobeyed orders. She reversed and accelerated the car after being told to get out. She did a handful of things she shouldn’t have done.

But I understand in the mind of the left, outside of murder, nothing is that bad. She didn’t run him over so she deserves zero blame.

This is all so tiring. People need to go to work and take care of their families, and quit harassing officers. If your work is harassing officers, educate yourself on how that typically works out. This isn’t a liberal fantasy world where there are no consequences. We have all been told since an early age to respect officers. One party has decided the opposite is true, it’s good to harass, and you will be a martyr if it doesn’t go well for you.

This take is completely false. The "legal observer" is a leftwing talking point. She was impeding and interfering with federal law enforcement personnel. Until she put that car in drive and punched it with an officer in front of her.

This makes me think you have never encountered a smart *** in your life, or at least never recognized it. She smiled and said a nice comment after her wife antagonized them and after blocking the road, and making it difficult for them to do their job.

“Legal observers” do not park their car across the road and they obey orders.

Do I think she needed to die? No. Did she do anything wrong? Yes, of course she did. It’s OK to admit that. It would make your argument seem reasonable. Right now, it’s not.
