Super Regional Attendance?

[ScrotieMcBoogerBalls]

Has anybody seen this weekend's attendance numbers at all the host sites? I couldn't find them on the googles. Really curious to see UCLA's. Flipped it to their game after ours and it looked pretty pitiful in comparison.

Game 1 - 1967
Game 2 - 1904
Game 3 - 2031

Total Attendance - 5902

Wow!

For comparison, ours were:

Game 1 - 13,715
Game 2 - 13,132

Total - 26,847

Aaron Fitt summed it up pretty well.
Said (paraphrasing) that he flipped from UCLA/Mich game to our game and the sound was like going from James Taylor concert to a AC/DC concert

Where are you seeing the Game 2 number? Official box score says 11,597.

[The Peeper]

That's the number Rick Cleveland used in his article too

Man, I love West Coast baseball, truly I do. But turning on the sound of the Mississippi State game after watching the UCLA game is like flipping from a James Taylor concert to an AC/DC show.

The announcers said during the Saturday game, that the 13,715 was more than 4 other Supers combined. I would guess those would be UCLA, Vandy, Texas Tech, and Louisville, or maybe UNC. Because we know LSU and Ark were over 10000 each.

[RocketDawg]

They need to come up with a way of counting the people in the Lofts. If nothing else, zoom in with the camera and count bodies. There might be several hundred to add to the total.

[Dawgbite]

There was more than what they announced. I had four tickets and the first scanned perfectly, the second wouldn’t scan and they finally said go ahead without even trying the other two.

[drumrcraig]

They said that it was almost as many as the 4 Friday supers combined. I think we were 100+ short of surpassing the total.
