I think C Carolina advances ( hope they do)
Will probably be UNC or Oregon St from that side of the bracket and Arkansas on the right side.

I would not rule out LSU making a run because of their two aces, but this weekend showed that they have trouble beyond those two guys.

I dunno, this feels like a year where you could have a weird team or teams in the finals. You could in theory have a UTSA vs Murray State game in the first round in Omaha.

I don’t think it’s all 1 and 3 seeds. NCAA is screwy with how they list the brackets without the seeds there. Some of what appear to be 3’s are actually 2’s.

Looks like only 3 SEC in Omaha at most. But, Auburn has a potential cakewalk to the Finals if they can get by Coastal. I’d also expect the other bracket to definitely have an SEC team in the Finals….whoever comes out of that Tennessee / Arkansas / LSU trio.

Going 2-0 in the regional has always been an enormous advantage, but the transfer portal has made it almost mandatory. Few teams have enough pitching to win four out of five games. In previous seasons, about three teams usually fought through the loser's bracket. This season, Oregon State is the only team to do it. Even teams like Vanderbilt and Texas couldn't overcome losing the second game. In years past, those top-line teams found a way to advance.

Having two stud starters and one stud reliever is more valuable than ever.

I think it's more of a random fluctuation than anything else. If anything, teams like Vandy and Texas should have MORE pitching depth now to be able to come through the losers bracket. SEC was just a very overrated conference this year.

It is interesting the max number of teams the SEC possibly gets in the CWS is now just 3.

LSU likely makes it, I suspect Auburn will choke. The UT Arkie series will be a good watch.

Uh, no.

Louisville, UTSA, Arizona, West Virginia and Duke were all 2 seeds.

And Murray was a 4.

The only 3 to advance was Miami in Hattiesburg.

So to summarize, the only non 1 or 2 seeds to advance out of the regionals did so in Mississippi.

Yea, someone already posted that the NCAA bracket wasn't set up by seeding which is what I used. Sorry for posting incorrect information based on NCAA.
