OK, with the loss last night and many of us following personal superstitions during the streak, does that mean we reset and start new ones or stick with what got us here? I mean I have my list of them such as: lining my drink, cell phone and remote up perfectly on table next to recliner, workout shorts with one string hanging out of the front, legs crossed the same way when we are at bat, and on and on.

I mean we need to all agree on this. What say the Pack?

time for a reset. I'm hanging my MSU banner on the front porch. Right next to Old Glory. I forgot to hang it before the Championship game against Central Arkansas, and we won, so I didn't hang it out after that. Now that we have lost a game, the banner goes back out!

Did I mention I have been watching games with my shirt off? It started during the first Friday afternoon game. Therefore, I am all for a reset. And the folks at the bar are too.

Was told by someone this morning that the first team to score has won every WS game. Don't know if that's our games only or all games.

Ha, I just posted about this on another board...NO, don't change your superstitions.

We had a few big mistakes, and we got nothing from Frazier, Renfroe, and Rea...that won't all happen again tonight. Don't fail this test from the baseball gods. They are hoping we give up on what got us here*

That is my superstition advice

this is true for sure in this series...with the pitching the way it is, I say the 1st team to score wins...

This is what we've decided...

Our group has decided to switch things up tonight..mainly because my buddy's wife is tired of sitting on the concrete floor of my patio (until now she has not been allowed comfortable seating for the past month). But mainly what we wear. Our team has won with multiple uniform looks so this shouldnt be an issue. We will continue to watch with our same group. And we will continue to force the neighbors 10 year old son to watch the game alone (he gets it...and enjoys the victory toss into the pool when we win)...but clothes will change. I am even sick of the hugger I've been using from my father-in-laws 70th birthday party that says Happy 70th Birthday Gene (flip side says..to save time let's just assume I know everything). Also, I WILL continue to use the least convenient restroom in the house. It's a longer walk but also gives me some time to digest the previous inning.

Nothing against Rick Cleveland or the Sports Hall of Fame...

...but I left when we trailed 3-0.

Score of the game after leaving the Sports Hall of Fame: MSU 1, UCLA 0, so I won't be there tonight.

Sorry about that, Rick.

Edit to add: I will say that while I was there it was good to meet up with some people and enjoy a couple of Lucky Town beers and food. The Hall of Fame put on a good show.

Just so everyone knows I am resetting!

Different clothes, drinking beer not tea. Might keep a few like where I sit and how I cross my feet. Anyone else?
