Suspension Overturned

Just learned that the VHSL has overturned Lorenz Terry's suspension. Terry was the player involved in the scuffle last week with Henrico QB Jalon Jones. He will be eligible to play in Varina's season opener in 2019.

Would you want it changed?! It was his 4th unsportsmanlike conduct of the season,he initiated the “assault”,punched the other player 4 TIMES,ripped the players helmet off,and threw it over the fence into the woods. Please tell me what coach or committee,with and level of integrity,that would allow this kid on ANY field or event?! He’s lucky he’s not in front of a judge for REAL assault! Any coach that would let him come back will be saying....this was ok to do!

Fact is,with or without him,Henrico’s season is over next Saturday anyway! HSHS wins 49-7!

Nah, not even part of my point. It's just that if the suspension of one party to the "fight" was lifted, sometimes the other party is likely to have their suspension reduced or lifted. I guess the evidence proved that Terry was not culpable.
