Hmmm.....interesting indeed. I guess CB did have a shot after all.... (sorry to the tiger fan who thought I was disrespectful to his "great team" by asking/suggesting CB had a shot.)

I'm going to suggest that Sussex got caught up in the old score comparison trap. Sussex beat Essex by a TD, Essex beat Franklin by 5 TDs and CB beat Franklin by 2 TDs so Sussex should beat CB by at least 4 TDs.
I seen the game Sussex came out flat like they knew they had the game I seen the whole demeanor when colonial beach scored Sussex was out of place on D trust me there D is crazy and good game to CB but Sussex made it hard on them selves to be honest

Colonial has always been a tough opponent for Sussex , This is great road win for the The Tigers , A win is a win LOL!
First and foremost several Tiger fans/supporters have said that this years team has a lot of work to do. Sussex is not as good as past teams but lets keep in mind that it is still early and they have the potential to be a good team if they continue to work hard each week. Also we must remember that it was a close game last year and extremely close in 2011(Sussex lost in the State Semi).

This wouldn't be bad if he didn't say it all night long(5-10 times) as well as at the end of the end. Instead of celebrating a good game between 2 teams he continued to make negative comments about Sussex. Keep in mind these are someone's children! Even the parents were yelling "at least we scored"...thats like celebrating participation awards smh. Sorry for the length

Colonial Beach is a quality program and has always played the Tigers tough, The Sussex defense plays aggressive, against the wing t being overly aggressive can hurt you !
I guess if you are from the Tri Rivers district , the good ole boys can say and do whatever they want to you, but The Sussex Central Tigers are prepared in everyday life to accept adversity and overcome all things that come up against them, just maybe that teaching contributed to them overcoming an hostile environment to pull off a hard fought victory. Mental toughness will be needed down the road, so continue to hate The Sussex Central Tigers ( Just like the fire needs the air , we won't burn unless you are there) Bring it !
These kids are human...they should be given a pass for giving up 12 points LOL. Sussex are not perfect or the early 2000's Ravens lol
The scary apart about Sussex is if the defense remains this good early, it takes about 4 games before the Sussex Veer offense is operating in cohesion, trust me Sussex has never had a problem with offense when the Veer isn't there they can always spread you out, also Sussex best offensive/ Defensive player has yet to play a game due to a injury from last season he is ready to go, I'm sure Coach Jefferson has a plan. Stop being bitter Focus on the Drifters making the playoffs.

I couldn't care less if Sussex Central wins or loses every game. They can turn around and beat everyone by 50 for all I care. But you sir are the one that seems to have an issue. You keep talking about being under the radar and that's how they like it, but you seem upset that they aren't rates higher. You can't have it both ways.
And then when someone has a question and/or opinion on their offense, you again make a statement that the offense always gets better as the year goes on. Well then why are you worried about it now to defend? And 2nd, it doesn't matter what has happened in previous years, not the same team.
A win is a win, doesn't matter the score. Doesn't matter if it's 1 point or 50 points. Just like your first game, doesn't matter if it's offense or defense or special teams. I wish your team and every other team good luck rest of the season with no injuries and let the kids decide it on the field, not guys and girls on a message board. Doesn't matter if a team is ranked 1st or last at beginning or this time a season, once playoffs start, every team has same opportunity to win the championship

Your team is the best team in 1A, the best team in all divisions in VA, your team is the best team in the country, your team is the best team on the planet. I think you have the 2nd best team in the universe, I hear that team from Mars is out of the world lol
Sir I have never bashed any program or disrespected anyone up here , my replies are directly about The Sussex Central Tigers, If you don't represent your program who will , everyone should feel that they have the best program in the world and be ready to defend that program, So with that said win or not Tiger Pride will always be with me.

Is it me or posters take the 5th when someone ask "who is your team?" TBH these posts use to make my workday go by fast. I used to read them years ago..then I join and the fun stops lol
If you are talking about me, it's Stuarts Draft as I have said many times on here. Nothing wrong with defending your team, but you get mad when anyone doesn't think your team is the best, even when you say you like being under the radar. You can't have both
Honestly in terms of Sussex they shouldn't be ranked as high this early. They have a tough district schedule ahead...several 2A and 3A schools. But I must admit Essex deserves the ranking. They are blowing teams out with the exception of Sussex. I must add..both teams have improved since that early matchup. Either way I will continue to support Sussex win or lose! Those boys are a bright spot for the community! #TigerPride
I like rooting for the underdog. I don't think Colonial Beach will be underdogs in too many games.
