Spencer Hall joined SVP and Russillo just now and they talked UF job. Spent a lot of time talking Mullen, but Hall said he doubted Mullen would be interested in UF because 1) MSU has $ too and 2) Mullen wouldn't want to have shadow of Meyer hanging over him. No mention of Freeze. Hall did throw out Holliday at Marshall which would be a much smaller name than the other possible hires. Just an FYI for anyone who missed it.

ESPN's Brett McMurphy has reported that neither Mullen nor Rich Rodriguez will be candidates for the Florida job. It's pretty well known that Mullen and Jeremy Foley aren't the best of friends.

I think everyone who has worked under Foley knows just how big of an ******* he is. You really don't see people who have worked for him in the past just begging to go back.

It's kind of funny that the guy who is known as more of a comedian than a football analyst has a better grasp on the situation than most "professional" analysts. He is a Florida guy to boot, so that makes it even better.
