I hope y'all beat Havelock for two reasons: 1) 3-0 Tarboro at 2-0 SWE will be a packed house. 2) i don't want y'all coming in mad lol.That'll change soon. Jokes aside it should be a good one.
They looked really, really good. But I don't know if that's due to HC being really, really bad or not. They DID come into the game off a win, so obviously they have a team that can, in fact, win.
I THINK tarboro can beat them this year. It will take a great performance still especially at their place. Even if tarboro does lose to Havelock ,I still expect a big crowd going into that me matchup. Any chance I could convince you to bring some more away seats
?We used to do that whenever Rocky Mount stopped by. I don't know if we want to be as hospitable for Tarboro. I always arrive a hour early for that one especially at swe. Honestly though after tarboro the only true toss up game I see for swe is West craven. Not sold on Wilson prep or north Pitt this year.
Wilson Prep is not all that good. They got some big kids but looks is all it is. We played absolutely terrible. Should have been 65-8 had we played well. Qb fumbled twice and we may have set a state record for penalty yardage. Hopefully it was a hangover from Havelock.
We had a record amount of procedure penalties on us that made this game drag on until 10 pm. I heard this morning that the penalties were called when our defensive lineman did not get in a 3 point stance. I have not talked to our coach about that so I’m not sure if that’s true. That should not be a penalty though. It it made for an ugly game.
Wilson prep gets a lot of penalties to. Y'all played Havelock week 1 and won 7-0 how do you see that game between them and Tarboro going?
Been a long time since Havelock started a season 0-3 if it ever did happen. They are going to be mad. But it’s a game that is going to be in Tarboro’s favor I think. Havelock has struggled to pass. If you can pressure the qb like we did and keep it a running game I believe you will win. Havelock needs to find something in their passing game. They need to stretch the field. So far they haven’t been able too.
