Jarvis has been waived by the Heat. That sucks. Hopefully he'll get picked up by someone who needs an athletic big.

Had Odem signed with the Pels he would probably still have a job.

I wish he would take Stiemsma's spot with the Pels, actually. That guy will only average 4 minutes per game for the season if he's lucky and they serve the same purpose. He's awful. At least the sultan of swat has upside.

See, I was thinking the same thing about Joel Anthony. He and Jarvis are basically the same type of player; they are both good re-bounders and defenders, undersized, albeit; except one is 89 years old and has absolutely no offensive game, bad knees, and a career 50% free-throw shooter percentage. Yet that person is still on the team.
