Ami Horowitz Documentary: Sweden is Now Europe’s Official “Rape Capital”…

President Trump made a comment during his rally on Saturday about Sweden, and something he noted on Friday, the evening prior. President Trump was talking about the “refugee crisis” and his strict immigration proposals called “extreme vetting”.

“We’ve got to keep our country safe,” he said. “You look at what’s happening in Germany. You look at what’s happening last night in Sweden. Sweden, who would believe this? Sweden. They took in large numbers. They’re having problems like they never thought possible. You look at what’s happening in Brussels. You look at what’s happening all over the world. Take a look at Nice. Take a look at Paris.” –LINK

President Trump’s reference was to an interview between Fox News Tucker Carlson and documentary filmmaker Ami Horowitz that took place on Friday night, the night before the rally.

The documentary is about the rape crisis in Sweden resulting from massive economic migration, aka “refugees”. There is even a horrible term for the current reality for women in Sweden called “rapeugees”.

Horowitz appeared on Tucker’s show to discuss his latest documentary film of the issue titled “Stockholm Syndrome“- Rape and violence exploding across Sweden due it’s immigration policies. Here is an excerpt of the documentary:

So which is the Fake News, the false statements by Horowitz on FOX or the statistics that refute the story in the WP?

I'll sit back and wait....

LOL. I posted another article on what is happening in Sweden. How do you now Horowitz was wrong? Because of WAPO which has proven itself to be a purveyor of fake news?

Another one:

http://dailycaller.com/2015/10/23/s...its-the-rape-capital-of-the-west-japan-didnt/

Interestingly, between 1995-2006, the Swedish government tracked gang rapes, identifying a drastically increasing trend. Unbelievably, after discovering the problem, it then adopted an ostrich-like “head in the sand” approach, terminating any further studies on them . Apparently the government’s fear of being labeled Islamophobic proved greater than its concerns about warning Swedish women about the threat. While no studies on gang rape have been conducted since 2006, one can assume these numbers have continued to rise.

https://majorityrights.com/weblog/comments/muslim_rape_wave_in_sweden/

According to a new study from the Crime Prevention Council, Brå, it is four times more likely that a known rapist is born abroad, compared to persons born in Sweden. Resident aliens from Algeria, Libya, Morocco and Tunisia dominate the group of rape suspects. According to these statistics, almost half of all perpetrators are immigrants. In Norway and Denmark, we know that non-Western immigrants, which frequently means Muslims, are grossly overrepresented on rape statistics. In Oslo, Norway, immigrants were involved in two out of three rape charges in 2001. The numbers in Denmark were the same, and even higher in the city of Copenhagen with three out of four rape charges. Sweden has a larger immigrant, including Muslim, population than any other country in northern Europe. The numbers there are likely to be at least as bad as with its Scandinavian neighbors. The actual number is thus probably even higher than what the authorities are reporting now, as it doesn’t include second generation immigrants. Lawyer Ann Christine Hjelm, who has investigated violent crimes in Svea high court, found that 85 per cent of the convicted rapists were born on foreign soil or by foreign parents.

Who is "we" and what does Germany have to do with the Swedish crime rate?

It shows that governments can't always be trusted with the truth. Sweden may not want to admit they have a problem since the government made the decision on allowing so many refugees into the country. Not hard to figure that one out. Germany has lied repeatedly.

Did you even read the other reports out of Sweden?

Do you think that governments put out info that they want us to see? When I post the hard homicide and shooting numbers coming out of Chicago, the response from many is that crime is down.

Is this report a lie?
"Amnesty International reports that Sweden has the highest number of rapes in Europe and the lowest conviction rate. According to Swedish Public Radio, in Stockholm alone, over 1,000 Swedish women reported that a Muslim immigrant raped them; 300 were under age 15."

BTW, your first quote, "Amnesty International reports that Sweden has the highest number of rapes in Europe and the lowest conviction rate." -- That line comes from a 2009 (Pre-Assange on the lam) report that had nothing to do with Muslims. Still looking for the quote from Swedish Public Radio, but I'd say at a minimum the quote was misleading.

Here's sombody that has done some research on the Swedish Public Radio part of that quote:

There are two relevant differences between the "Top Conservative News" summary and the actual report from Swedish Radio, to which they are linking:

  • The Swedish Radio report does not mention the ethnicity of the perpetrator. Since the report refers to the number of police reports and not actual convictions, the perpetrator is likely to be unknown in several cases.

  • The Swedish Radio report only counts the number of reports in Stockholm County. The "Top Conservative News" summary seem to indicate that the numbers are for the whole country.
If we look at the statistics from "Brottsförebyggande rådet" (BRÅ), the actual number for the entire country are as expected quite a bit higher. In the first 7 months of 2013, there were in total 3,426 reports on rape or rape attempt. In 1,133 cases, the victim was below the age of 15 (1,004 girls and 129 boys).

The most recent statistics on crime among immigrants seem to be this report from BRÅ, dated 2005. The report does not quote any absolute numbers, but on page 42, the relative risk of being accused for different kind of crimes is listed for the three categories "born in Sweden, both parents born in Sweden", "born in Sweden, at least one parent born outside Sweden" and "born outside Sweden". For rape and rape attempts, the relative risks for these three categories are 1.0, 1.8 and 5.0.

Now, looking to find the percentage of the total population falling into each of these three groups, "Statistiska centralbyrån" offers the numbers for the year 2008:

Born in Sweden, both parents born in Sweden: 75% Born in Sweden, at least one parent born abroad: 11% Born abroad: 14%

With the known risk of correlating three different statistics collected over a range of 8 years, the number of perpetrators in each of the three population groups (considering their share of the total population and relative crime risk) should be approximately:

Born in Sweden, both parents born in Sweden: 1557 Born in Sweden, at least one parent born abroad: 415 Born abroad: 1454

Summing it up: Of the 3,426 reported rapes or rape attempts in the first 7 months of 2013, some 1900 can be assumed to have been performed by a perpetrator born outside Sweden or with at least one parent born outside Sweden.

This is where it seems impossible to get any further with the analysis. There are no public statistics regarding the religion of the foreign-born population and also no crime statistics with a more detailed breakdown of the nationality or religion of the crime suspects. Even if the Swedish Radio news report is misquoted and there are no further backups for the claim, it is not completely unrealistic, that 1000 of the assumed 1900 foreign rapists are Muslims.

PS - Never thought I'd be discussing rape studies about Sweden. Just someone trying to divert eyes away from his trainwreck first month, imo.

Amazingly, this topic has its own Wikipedia page...

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rape_in_Sweden

The legal definition of rape in Sweden is described in chapter 6 in the Swedish Penal Code.[1] Historically, rape has been defined as forced sexual intercourse initiated against a woman or man by one or several people, without her/his consent.[2] In recent years, several revisions to the definition of rape have been made in Swedish law,[3] to now not only include intercourse, but comparable sexual acts initiated against someone passive—incapable of giving consent—because they are in a vulnerable situation, such as a state of fear or unconsciousness.[4]

In 2014, there were 6,700 rapes reported to the Swedish police—or 69 cases per 100,000 population—according to the Swedish National Council for Crime Prevention (BRÅ), which is an 11 percent increase from the previous year.[5] The number of convictions has remained relatively unchanged since 2005, with approximately 190 convictions on average each year.[6][7]

There have been several international comparisons made, placing Sweden at the top end of the number of reported rapes. However, police procedures and legal definitions vary widely across countries, which makes it difficult to compare rape statistics.[8][9][10][11] For example, Sweden reformed its sex crime legislation and made the legal definition of rape much wider in 2005,[3][4][8][12] which largely explains a significant increase in the number of reported rapes in the ten-year period of 2004-2013.[13][14] The Swedish police also record each instance of sexual violence in every case separately, leading to an inflated number of cases compared to other countries.[8][11][15] Additionally, the Swedish police have improved the handling of rape cases, in an effort to increase the number of crimes reported.[8][14][16][17] Raised awareness and a shifting attitude of sexual crimes in Sweden,[note 1][18] which has been ranked as the number one country in gender equality,[19] may also explain the relatively high rates of reported rape.[8][11][20]

The BRÅ has not released detailed data on rape committed by immigrants since 1996, but according to that report individuals with an immigrant background, excluding nordic countries, made up 30% of all rape convictions between 1985 and 1989.[21]

This excerpt is an unofficial translation, provided by the Ministry of Justice, of the 2014 legal definition of rape:

A person who by assault or other violence or by threat of a criminal act forces another person to have sexual intercourse or to undertake or endure another sexual act that, in view of the seriousness of the violation, is comparable to sexual intercourse, shall be sentenced for rape to imprisonment for at least two and at most six years.

This also applies if a person engages with another person in sexual intercourse or in a sexual act which under the first paragraph is comparable to sexual intercourse by improperly exploiting that the person, due to unconsciousness, sleep, serious fear, intoxication or other drug influence, illness, physical injury or mental disturbance, or otherwise in view of the circumstances, is in a particularly vulnerable situation.[25]

In Sweden, case law also plays an important role in setting precedent on the application of the legislation. For example, a 2008 ruling by the Supreme Court decided that digital penetration of the ******, on a woman who is intoxicated or sleeping, shall be regarded as an sexual act comparable to sexual intercourse, and is therefore an act of rape.[26][27]

Unlike the majority of countries in Europe, crime data in Sweden are collected when the offence in question is first reported, at which point the classification may be unclear. In Sweden, once an act has been registered as rape, it retains this classification in the published crime statistics, even if later investigations indicate that no crime can be proven or if the offence must be given an alternative judicial classification.[11][28][29]

Sweden also applies a system of expansive offence counts. Other countries may employ more restrictive methods of counting. The Swedish police registers one offence for each person raped, and if one and the same person has been raped on a number of occasions, one offence is counted for each occasion that can be specified. For example, if a woman says she has been raped by her husband every day during a year, the Swedish police may record more than 300 cases of rape. In many other countries only a single offence would be counted in such a situation.[8][11][15][29][30]

In Sweden, crime statistics refer to the year when the offence was reported; the actual offence may have been committed long before. Swedish rape statistics can thus contain significant time-lag, which makes interpretations of annual changes difficult.[11][29]

This report seems to have an answer:

EUROPE / MUSLIMS IN GOVERNMENT STATISTICS / SWEDEN
Sweden: est 77% of rapes committed by 2% Muslim male population – Crime statistics
Posted on March 19, 2015 by ADMIN196 Comments
This article toches upon the overrepresentation of ‘foreign’ born criminals in Sweden’s crime statistics.

The total Muslim population in Sweden is estimated at 4.4% (2013 figures). Out of that 4.4%, and if we casually deduct the women and children, we can roughly guesstimate that around 2% are male.

The ‘foreign born’ rape figures at 77.6% can quite securely be estimated to be a Muslim majority one today as the figures are behind by five years. We have seen this in Oslo (Norway) police stats from 2011. Oslo Police inspector Hanne Kristin Rodhe says the perpetrators often are unemployed, have been asylum-seekers during the last five years. A rough estimate of 80% Muslim rape figure has been anonymously confirmed by Swedish police in a phone conversation with our volunteer.

Let us hope that a complete un-biased, transperant and accurate government study will one day reveal the real figures. The reason government figures are held with limited access is because the summary would be shocking and outrageous. The actual figure could be higher. The percentages presented in the article below does not include Muslims with Swedish citizenship contained within rapes in the figures categorized under “Swedish nationals”.

Staggering rape and assault rape statistics from Sweden from 1985-89 and 1997-2001. Rape committed by Swedish born rapists (blue) were 22.4%. Foreign rapists represent 77.6% of all figures divided into ‘normal’ representation (pink, red and orange) at 5,070; over representation (red) at 3,752 rape cases; unregistered migrants (orange) at 653 rape cases. Note that the blue bracket of Swedish rapists include foreign born persons with Swedish citizenship as the statistics are only counted on citizenship, and not nationality.

Sweden’s growing rape incidents
[Google translate from original article from Affes.wordpress.com]
August 5, 2012

When I have “rape” in the title will increase visits to your blog dramatically. Rape upset, and rightly so, that’s a disgusting crime which affects both women and men in depth. If a connection is made to immigrants over the presentation of rape crimes, it becomes very explosive. What we know of course our rulers and authorities. Therefore, they do everything for us in the dark. It is rarely direct lies. It would be too risky. Effective propaganda is all about creating uncertainty. Insecure people are passive.

One way to create uncertainty is failing to investigate and find out the facts. Or, as in this case: facts and findings are available, but they are not released to the public.

The only major study that has been made regarding immigrants overrepresented in rape where the results became public, the investigation is in BRÅ-raport 1996:2, which covers the years 1985-1989.

Here I have started from the report’s estimate in Table 24 (p. 74). The pie chart on the right you can see that even then (1985-1989) were persons of Swedish background in the minority of 39 percent.

These things I have counted on the 2011 conditions, see the chart at the top of the post. People of Swedish descent account for 22.4 percent. The reason that Swedes have such a high percentage is that I have taken account of the new sexual offenses law which came 2005th Without it, the Swedes percentage was less.1 Non registered percentage I have made known to remain at 10 percent. It may be a conservative estimate. Increased the percentage would of course Swedes percentage decrease.

Who exactly are committing these rapes?
The BRÅ report from 1996 reported over-representation of immigrants of different types of crime are divided on which countries / geographical areas, people came from. According to the National Council is the data set for including rape too thin (p. 61):

“As for murder, manslaughter, rape, other sexual offenses, robbery and burglary are the values of brottsparticipation too small to be able to draw conclusions from them.”
Total national rape statistics: Swedish born rapists (39%), migrants (38%), migrant children (13%) and unregistered migrants (10%). Immigrants are responsible for 62% of the entire country’s rape crimes.

Rape figures for the years 1985-1989 was on a completely different level than today. Broken down by individual countries, the material becomes even thinner. It is possible to draw some conclusions, but to draw any firm conclusions needed more data.

Nearly ten years later in 2005 will follow up report. Instead of more data so we can start to draw conclusions do we make this announcement (p. 44):

“BRÅ’s last study was done fairly detailed analysis of the foreign-born and ‘immigrants’ children’ over-representation of each crime divided on which countries / geographical areas, people came from. BRÅ has this time decided that such a detailed analysis is not meaningful.”
I can agree with. BRÅ’s “analysis” is rarely meaningful. However, a detailed account of the results desired.

It is not that BRÅ did not bother to produce values for the countries of origin. They have obviously taken up all the results. It is after they have seen the results, they judge that there is “meaningful” to account for them. In other words, do the investigators on the BRÅ just how it is with the immigrants’ countries of origin for various categories of crime. Responsible ministers, both then and now, of course have been informed. Thomas Bodström (s), Beatrice Ask (m), Mona Sahlin (s), Erik Ullenhag (fp), Barbro Holmberg (s), Tobias Billström (m) and others.

The Liberal Party’s spokesman on refugee and integration issues Mauricio Rojas wrote on DN-debate a few days before the report was released in 2005:

“The sensitive issue, the report explains the concern probably also the slow process of publication of the report presented on Wednesday. The main statistical results have been calculated and analyzed for a long time, but the report’s publication has been delayed because new investigations and treatments deemed necessary depending on the substance of controversial nature.”
One who “examined” the material was a Polish former surveyors … * cough *

Among all the “treatments” was therefore to simply delete all the results of the criminal suspects’ countries of origin in relation to specific types of crime such as rape. An apparent cover-up. More than 2000 individual amounts reported in the first report is missing from “monitoring”.

BRÅ chooses words to conceal results they obtain in their investigations. Studies of the Swedish people pay through their taxes. To get an idea, we simply use the values that emerged from the first report. It is certainly old numbers, but for the sake, they need not be misleading. Mauricio Rojas met with investigators nearly a year before the 2005 publication of the report:

“Last spring, I met two of those responsible for the report generation, among them the late January Ahlberg, who was also author of the report from 1996. It was a meeting that bore witness to a real nervousness that the publication of the new report led in some environments.
During the call, Ahlberg noted that the new report’s findings essentially confirmed the results of the previous report.”

If the new report’s findings essentially confirmed the findings of the previous report, the old figures to be pretty reliable.

Below(2), an evaluation for 2011 based on the information in BRÅ-report 1996:2 Table 2.3 (p. 107).

For the three columns that stand out: Rest of Europe, West Asia and Africa, it is to some extent that they represent large groups of immigrant population. But that’s not the whole explanation. The foreign born from Africa, for example, only 1500 more in population than the foreign born from Europe (yes, you read that right. In the age group 15-54 is the foreign-born Africans are more than the foreign-born from the Nordic countries). Although both groups are almost equal populations are held in Africa is much higher than that of the Nordic countries. It depends on Africans’ over-representation.

For Western Asia, it is mainly Iraq who pulls up the stack. The Iraqis are a major group in Sweden, and they happen to have the second highest over-representation of rape. Only North Africa has a higher value.

Could it possibly have been the result of this style as investigators on National Council came up with 2005? Results confirmed the initial report and made it possible to begin to draw conclusions. The conclusions, if they had been published, might have made people react. Reactions that might have made immigration a matter of choice in parliamentary elections a year later.

This we may never know, but one thing we know for certain: Survey results are available, but they are not released to the public.

Calculation
An account of how I did the estimates can be found here.

1. Eftersom I took into account changes in sexual offenses Act 2005 came more rapes in Swedes stack. A large part of the “Swedish” rape is therefore of less severe kind. Such as before the change in legislation was headlined as sexual coercion.

2. All the charts I post in this topic is about estimates. Even those from BRÅ. No one has or will ever be fully cognizant of how crime is distributed. Simply because all crimes are not solved. The number of crimes in the bars is very accurate because I have chosen to convert percentages to the number of crimes, to make things a bit more substantial.

I wonder what has caused the dramatic rise in rapes in Sweden......The water? I also never saw any info that hospitals in Sweden had more cases of the "4 hour" problem being reported.
I believe the dramatic rise in rapes is coming from a change in what is rape, an educated population, etc. But I get it. It's easier to believe the words of muslimstats blog than it is actual research and numbers. It's easier to be afraid of them. Best of luck to ya.

Sweden is clearly safer than Bosnia were Hillary came under sniper fire while at the airport . It would be a tough decision for you if you have a daughter. Bosnia or the rape capital of Europe.

Alleged gang rape shown on Facebook shocks Sweden

Outrage and shock are spreading across Sweden over a case against three men of foreign origin arrested on suspicion of raping a woman and broadcasting it live on Facebook.

Swedish authorities said Wednesday that the case against the unidentified men was "growing stronger" amid an increasing backlash against immigrants in a country that took in more asylum seekers per capita than any other nation in Europe last year.

"There have been cases in Sweden before where crimes have been filmed and publicized on social media but not like this," said Pontus Melander, chief prosecutor in the case in Uppsala, the city where the alleged incident took place in an apartment Jan. 22.

"I have seen different cases around the world — but not sexual cases," he added.

The alleged crime in the Scandinavian country, which has one Europe's highest recorded rates of sexual assaults, was live-streamed on a private Facebook page accessible to about 60,000 people.

It follows a year in which 163,000 people sought asylum in Sweden from conflict zones in North Africa and the Middle East — the most the country of 10 million has ever allowed in and double the number it accepted during the Balkan wars of the 1990s.

Neither the victim nor the alleged perpetrators have been named by authorities. Melander said two of the three men arrested were born in Afghanistan and a third was a Swedish citizen, although his birthplace is not publicly known.

Investigators have not yet seen the full broadcast, including the part where the alleged gang rape took place, because they are waiting for Facebook to comply with a request to release the footage. Melander successfully argued Wednesday for the men to be detained for two more weeks while the investigation continues.

Prosecutors said the pair from Afghanistan deny taking part in a rape, a crime that carries a sentence of two to six years in Sweden. The sentence for aggravated rape is four to 10 years. The Swedish national was detained on suspicion of failing to reveal rape, a lesser crime he also denies. No decision to prosecute has been made.

It is not clear if the two Afghan men are recent asylum seekers. But witness statements published in Swedish news media have stoked anger at migrants as Europe grapples with what to do about hundreds of thousands of people flooding in from predominantly Muslim countries, a crisis that has fueled support for anti-immigration political parties from France to Germany to Holland.

"He tore off her clothes and lay down on top of her," Josefine Lundgren, one of several witnesses who contacted police shortly after watching the incident happen in real-time, told Swedish media. Other witnesses have since come forward to say that a second, live broadcast showed the victim being forced to deny that she had been assaulted.

"There's been total outrage about this case in Sweden," said Jerzy Sarnecky, a criminologist at Stockholm University. "The fact that these men may not have been born in this country has made it of great interest to opponents of immigration. This kind of event fuels the xenophobic discussion."

Allegations that rape is on the rise in Sweden as a result of the influx of asylum seekers routinely surfaces in the right-wing media. Shortly after the case was first revealed, the Breitbart website published a story quoting an economist who claimed that "offenders of foreign origin account for the majority of gang rapes." Steve Bannon, a founder of Breitbart, is now President Trump's senior strategist.

Over the summer, police reported several dozen cases of sexual assault by gangs of foreign men at Swedish music festivals. The statements were later withdrawn.

Facebook said the vast majority of people who use Facebook Live do so to come together and share experiences in the moment with their friends and family. If someone violate's the social networking firm's community standards, the company interrupts the stream as quickly as possible and complies with all valid requests related to criminal cases.

Still, the company's move to promote its user-generated service has not been trouble-free. Last month, four people in Chicago were indicted for attacking a teenager with mental disabilities on Facebook Live. In July, shootings in Norfolk, Va., and St. Paul were streamed live on Facebook.

Sweden has about 47 reported rape cases per 100,000 people, according to a 2014 survey by the European Union Agency for Fundamental Rights, which provides data about the 28-nation EU, including Sweden. That compares to about three reported rape cases per 100,000 in Portugal.

Sarnecky of Stockholm University said Sweden has a much broader definition of rape, which accounts for some of that difference, and that rape rates across countries are not easily compared.

Thirty-one percent of Swedish woman said they feel unsafe going out at night even in their own neighborhoods, according to a recent survey published by the Swedish National Council for Crime Prevention. That is about the same amount — 30% — of immigrants, men and woman, who fear for their safety when going out at night in Sweden.

"My heart broke," said Linda Johansson, another witness of the live broadcast. "They put the girl in front of the camera, but the guy who filmed tried to persuade her to deny she had been raped," she told Swedish Television News. "He was putting words into her mouth. He was taunting and laughing throughout the whole clip."

I watched Horowitz again last evening. I watched the interview he conducted with the police officers. Very compelling. He cited actual government stats backing up his claims. The cops reneged and claimed they were deceived by the interview. Not sure how after watching it. The questions were straight forward as were their answers. Then I learned that Sweden does not have our first Amendment rights. Those officers could be subject to criminal investigation if the government felt they were demonstrating bigoted behavior.

We all know that Germany has hidden refugee crime stats. We know the U.S. makes it very, very difficult to get at criminal illegal alien stats. I think the governments are engaged in CYA'ing to not enrage the public.

Is this spin?

Frankly, I am not sure why libs don't want to get to the truth? Not very liberal.
