The way it looks, the Gators might not win a game this season. At least they did score in last week's loss to Southern Wayne 48-8. I'm not expecting them to score against the Rebels defense. SC 0 ND 50

Another county rivalry game for the Raiders, and this one should be closer than their win at Clinton (55-39) last week. If this game was being played later in the season i would pick Lakewood to win. Right now I just don't think the Leopards have found their identity. L 18 M 28
NORTH JOHNSTON 2-0 @ (19)ROSEWOOD 0-2
North Johnston liked to made a believer out of me, with the way they were beating Holmes last week. And then they had to hold on to win by one 35-34. But i don't think this is one of Rosewood's better teams that we are custom to. The Eagles will put up a fight at home, but will fall to 0-3. NJ 31 R 18
SEAFORTH 0-2 @ (14)PRINCETON 1-1
The Bulldogs found themselves in a battle last week at East Duplin, after being tied at halftime, they watched ED score on their first five ppossessions of the 2nd half. That was too much for the dogs to handle. Now they're back at home against an Hawks team that hasn't won a game. Look for Princeton to run all over the Hawks. S 13 P 57
SOUTHERN WAYNE 1-1 @ GOLDSBORO 0-2
The Saints are steady making their way through the SVC, as they face their third SVC opponent. The Cougars will be much like the Saints last outing against the Gators. The only question is, will the Saints allow the Cougars to score their first points of the season. SW 34 G 6

This is unusual territory for the Bulldogs, starting a season 0-2, and having to face an rival to seek for their first win of the season. The Dark Horses had a good showing on offense last week in their loss to Midway. The return of Qb1 sparked the Dark Horses
offense. This is another hard one to call, the dogs 
has let me down thus far on the season, but I still believe that they'll get it going. And no better way than to get it going against your rival. WRH 28 C 22

My Tigers hit the road this week against a 5a heavyweight. SN doesn't lose at home against nonconference opponents unless it's against a rival. So this is a big test for my Tigers. The Firebirds are coming off a lost against 7a power Clayton 49-14. The Tigers and Firebirds like to run power offenses, so the battle will be in the trenches. SN is bigger than my Tigers at every position, but my Tigers have speed, and lots of it. Can JK defense handle the big guys up front for SN, and can the offense get to the outside with their speed. It's only one way to find out, and Friday night my Tigers will be in the bird's nest 🪹 looking for supper. JK 21 SN 7
