My Tigers took care of business last week against then undefeated rival East Duplin by starting fast. They jumped out to a 21-0 lead, and held the Panthers off for a 27-21 victory. Now we turn to a winless Gator team that hasn't shown any signs of life. Look for my Tigers
to tell the Gators to call the school when they get ready to leave Spring Creek so that we can start the clock ⏰️ to running. SC 0 JK 63

Midway offense looked unstoppable until last week, South Johnston held them to 12 points, and handed the Raiders their first defeat of the season. The Bulldogs found themselves in another shootout in a 48-46 win over then undefeated North Johnston. Both of these offenses can really get going, it's going to come down to who has the ball last. I think the Raiders will have the ball last, but the Bulldogs will come up with the stop, and start 1-0 in the conference. P 45 M 38

This will be three weeks in a row that the Panthers will find themselves in a dog fight. After suffering their first loss of the season to my Tigers last week, the Panthers has to get back focused quickly, cause here comes the big bad 6a undefeated Jacksonville Cardinals. The jury is still out on how good the Cardinals are this season, cause they hasn't faced any stiff competition thus far. Ball control will be the best game plan for the Panthers, if they can keep the Cardinals offense on the sideline then they'll have a great chance at pulling off the upset. I believe that the Cardinals will fly too high for the Panthers. J 28 ED 12

This will be the Rebels toughest opponent on the season. The Leopards
comes in after a lackluster performance against a winless Fairmont team, surviving with a 15-14 victory. If it won't for that performance I would have picked the Leopards by two or more scores with the upset. But now I think the Rebels defense will come to play, and get their best win of the season. (25)MARTIN COUNTY 2-2 @ (16)GREENE CENTRAL 4-0
The Rams doesn't really care what anyone thinks of their schedule thus far, as their opponents records are a combined 2-14. And they are coming off a shootout win over North Pitt. While the Gators has been battle tested, and has shown signs of last season's third round playoff team. Is Greene Central for real, is the question! This is a hard one to call, so I think the Rams
will find a way to go to 5-0. MC 21 GC 26
PENDER 3-0 @ SOUTH COLUMBUS 2-2
The Patriots surprised everyone last week with their double overtime win over Wallace Rose Hill at home. And now they hit the road to face a Stallions team who really hasn't figured out what kind a team they're going to be this season. They're on a two game skid, where they have lost to two really good teams that are bigger than them. I don't think the Patriots are as good as Loris, and West Brunswick, so i look for this to be a competitive game. If the Patriots are to be the biggest threat to East Duplin in the ECC then they're going to need to win a game like this on the road. I don't think they will because they have dropped the last two to the Stallions, and it seems as if the Stallions has their number. P 27 SC 28

The Dark Horses has been very competitive this season, but can't find a way to win close games. They have lost three straight games, where they have found a way to lose them late. The Wolfpack seems to be on another run to the Eastern finals, they may not be as good as they were last season, but they are showing signs that they are still far ahead of the Dark Horses. The Dark Horses
are big up front and that may cause some problems for the Wolfpack. Can the Dark Horses keep it close, and find a way to pull off the upset, and calm the nerves of the Dark Horse diehard fans. Not this week! C 6 W 42
