The high scoring Raiders swing back into action this week against a Gators team that looks completely lost on the field. Gators couldn't manage to put up points on JK's backups and jv players Friday night. My Tigers
did all they could do to not run up the score on the helpless Gators. Even pulling the starters at the beginning of the 2nd quarter didn't help. Meanwhile at Midway, the Raiders found themselves in a shootout against Princeton, where both teams combined for 123 points, with the Raiders walking away victorious 73-50. This week 73 points isn't needed for the Raiders offense, but they may not be able to control their scoring output. I look for Midway to get this one over with quickly, and then turn their focus to my Tigers next week in Warsaw. SC 6 M 68

It's been 10 years since the last time my Tigers played at Rosewood, and oh what a night it was. As I witnessed a fired up Eagles team take down my undefeated, ranked #1 in the state, Tigers , on their homecoming night. The Eagles kicked a walk off field goal as time expired, and won 37-35. That lost damaged my Tigers on their playoffs seeding that season, instead of playing at home for the Eastern Championship, we had to hit the road, and lost a heartbreaker at the Dog Pound to Wallace Rose Hill. So my Tigers has to be focused, and not looking ahead to Midway. And let the Eagles know that it won't be that kind of party this go around. The Eagles comes into this one with some momentum, as they defeated Goldsboro for their first win of the season Friday night 20-0. So they'll be fired up again, but this Tiger team is on a mission, and the Eagles are in their way. Like Midway, my Tigers will be looking to get this one over quickly, and then turn our focus to the high scoring Raiders. JK 59 R 0

This shouldn't be a game of the week, and it really isn't, but I am curious to see how the Bulldogs will perform in this one. They're coming off a bye week, after a double overtime lost to Pender 32-26 in their last outing. I'm still waiting to see if the real Wallace Rose Hill Bulldogs are going to show up for the 2025 season. I heard that the Bulldogs had a great week of practice last week, and they're about to hit the ground running, and it starts this Friday night against a Cougars team that appears to be easy prey. I look for the Bulldogs to get their first running clock of the season. G 0 WRH 62
