The Eagles offense seems to be getting better as the season progresses, and I look for them to pick up their second win of the season. I do believe that the Gators will put up a fight in this one, but they won't have enough fire power to finish. R 35 SC 13

The battle of the Bulldogs! Wallace Rose Hill Bulldogs finally showed up last week, even though it was against Goldsboro, walking away victorious 65-6. Putting up 65 points had to feel good coming off of an bye week. Now they have to face a high scoring Princeton offense, with their second leading rusher in the state. Who has over 1,200 yards on the season, in only 5 games. But WRH has a great back of their on, and in this game we may witness both running backs rushing for over 200 yards. Princeton should be ready to play, since they had last week off. I think Wallace has the better defense, and they will get enough stops to pull away in the second half. WRH 41 P 22
GAME OF THE WEEK
(11)MIDWAY RAIDERS 5-1 2-0 @ (7)JAMES KENAN TIGERS 4-1 2-0
This should be a good one, both teams are three points from being undefeated. And both offenses can really score. It's HOMECOMING in Warsaw, and the last time my Tigers hosted the Raiders on homecoming, it wasn't good, the Raiders put 50 on us, and walked away with a win. But this is not them, those Tigers were young and were trying to find their way. These Tigers are hungry, and will be hunting for some Raider's meat 
. The biggest questions will be, can Midway stop the run, and can my Tigers defend the Raiders running and passing attack. The winner of this one will be in the driver seat for the conference crown. My Tigers went to Midway last season and beat the Raiders 41-6 in the pouring rain that never let up, so I know that the Raiders will be looking for a little revenge. Both teams has some size up front, (more so Midway than my Tigers ), and some speed on the outside. Which defense will show up first, and get a stop or a turnover? I truly believe that my Tigers are on a mission, and Midway is in our way. M 12 JK 41

The Vikings has ran through the toughest part of their schedule, and now their focus is on a conference title, with the Rams up first. Look for the Vikings to make it clear early on in this one, that nobody is going to stop them from reaching their goal. Both teams are coming off of bye weeks and should be ready to go. If the Rams are going to gain any respect after playing a lackluster schedule, they need to show up for this one. T 48 GC 0

These two has had some good match ups in the past, they met twice last season, with the Vikings winning both close games over the Chargers, including a third round playoff match up. Now they both are in the same conference, and i believe that the winner of this one will be the biggest threat to Tarboro for the conference crown. Both of Kinston losses were games where they had the lead but couldn't finish. I think the Vikings will make a run to their last game of the season when they will host Tarboro. K 32 AG 30

Are the Warriors from Louisburg for real, i don't know, but I would really like to know. And I think the Bulldogs from Nash Central are about to let me know. I do believe that the Bulldogs has played a tougher schedule than the Warriors, but the Warriors has beat two teams with only one loss. And the Bulldogs hasn't won a game on the field, cause their one win is from a forfeit game earlier in the season. This game may stand in between the Warriors getting the #1 seed in the East for the playoffs, cause i think that they're going to run through their conference. The Dark Horses shook up the world in their comeback upset win over Whiteville two weeks ago. And the Patriots made believers out of everyone with their double overtime win over Wallace. This will be the conference opener for both teams, and it should be a good one. The Dark Horses
are finding their footing on offense and defense, while the Patriots are still pulling away from teams. Will the bigger Dark Horses be able to slow down that Patriots option attack offense, and will Pender keep Clinton's quarterback under control? If the Dark Horses comes out playing the way they played in the second half against Whiteville, then I believe that they'll win. The winner of this one will have a leg up on the claiming the conference crown, but who will it be? C 27 P 30

This should be a good one, both teams has played a respectable schedule, and both has performed well. Like the Warriors, the Cougars has only one loss on the field of play. Their other loss was due to a forfeit. The Warriors lost to a 4-1-1 (14)Middle Creek team 59-36, and the Cougars game was called in the 3rd quarter due to some off the field activity, to #1 ranked, and undefeated Tarboro Vikings(14-0). The winner of this one will more than likely challenge West Craven for the conference crown. The Warriors costed to a victory Friday night with a shutout win over North Lenoir, while the Cougars had to come from behind to beat Wilson Prep. Eastern Wayne has a dynamic quarterback that can run and pass. I think the Cougars defense will be up for the challenge, and come out and defend their home field. EW 14 SWE 28
