This is more like a piece of lent instead of a thread ...... ;)

What can I say, nothing good about the Mariners chances. If we leave the JVs in long enough or even start em they might score. No hope in stopping or even slowing down the Stallions. Pagan continued his unmolested first carry scoring again on his and the games first touch. It did take him 2 carries to get his second one last night. White the freshman also continues his supporting role with a couple also. After running it up to 30-0 just one play into the second qtr. we started subbing and for the most part took the entire second qtr off. Cranked it back up the 3rd qtr and with a running clock just bidded our time till the end of the game.

Its a long drive to East so need to finish early again and get on home.

One good thing about going to East is the great sea food in the area. They used to have a super snack bar with shrimp burgers and soft shell crab.

I think the running back rotation is set for SWO. Last game Pagan had 10 carries for 164 yards and 3 TDs, White with a few more and over 100 and 2 TDs as well. In all we ran 9 different backs with 2 others scoring also A few passes which all the completions were for good yardage. Pound em on the ground and every once in a while you burn em with a pass. The #1 qb, Moore played some with 3 others finishing the majority of the game. Using Foster the WR at qb payed off as he ran it in for a TD. Foster also along with Simmons were the main pass catchers. Two more extended practices before the season final with Richlands. Using JVs will help a bunch with nagging injuries and we should be in good shape for the playoffs.

No wonder SC makes the playoffs every year. They play a bs cupcake conference schedule.

Maybe you were referring to SWO vice SC. Maybe a soft conference (which we have no control over), BUT we have went to the Eastern Div Final last two year with the same schedule. A team advances IF THEY ARE GOOD ENOUGH, no matter the conference. We have won State Titles with about the same or maybe even lesser regular season foes. We won a few Titles also in the ECC, 3 if Im not mistaken. I might be wrong, I thought I was once BUT I was wrong ...... :p If you can you could get what ever team you represent to play us and we will see how that goes for Ya ..... :eek:

Game of intrest to me friday other than SWO is the Richlands/Croatan game. Hoping the Wildcats take it as I want them to be 6-0 with us in the upcoming conference title game end of regular season.

Packing up today and heading to the river for the end of Small Mouth and Trout season. Will have two laptops, 2 sets of ear phones and my unlimited hotspot. Gonna be a little chilly and maybe some rain. Might have to do the game in the RV. I would rather be outside by the fire. Am taking about half cord of seasoned White Oak as will have to keep a good fire going most all days. Hopefully fresh fish, fried taters and cole slaw for game night meal. Rest of you boys enjoy your Hot Dogs.

All set up by the Nianuga River in SW Missouri. Yesterday was a beautiful day with High almost 70, Sunny but a little windy. Caught 3 trout, one I kept was a little over 14", the other two were about 6-8" and I threw them back. Also got a small mouth but he was just 10", have to be 12" to keep so he went back in also. Ready for Friday night football and the SWO Stallions. Have 5 bars on the hot spot so should get good reception for the game along with Clinton/WRH. I will post the updated scores for that game along with play-by-play of SWO. Rain today so probably no fishing. Will Start a pot of beef stew in a little bit, good cold weather food as it aint going to get much above 40 today.
