These clowns have no idea. He’s a PWO. Not a schollie.
Calm down poors
How is taking a running back who was a star in FCS as a walk-on lowering the bar?Steadily lowering the bar.
Wasting your time with these guys. Think Marine Mountie but dumberHow is taking a running back who was a star in FCS as a walk-on lowering the bar?
Homer fans at WVU are used to spinning **** and trying to make it filet mignon. The “Nehlen effect”.The guy gained less than four yards a carry at freaking Delaware State! Why is he a "good get"?
Given the circumstances that he had to work with, he is a good get. Has tremendous upside potential, and depending if our o-line can be above average, he could do some solid things as a backup. The guy gained less than four yards a carry at freaking Delaware State! Why is he a "good get"?
What exactly do YOU mean by "tremendous upside potential "?Given the circumstances that he had to work with, he is a good get. Has tremendous upside potential, and depending if our o-line can be above average, he could do some solid things as a backup.
Depth is what we lack. And there isn’t many running backs they can take the beating like Leddie did this year. I don’t anticipate them being as bad this year as they were last year, but still gonna need the depth.
One RB used to carry the load for most teams. Today's RB's are soft.Given the circumstances that he had to work with, he is a good get. Has tremendous upside potential, and depending if our o-line can be above average, he could do some solid things as a backup.

He’s an underdog. Blue-collar kid from MD. Not a guy that everybody wanted, but has a chip on his shoulder with something to prove. I’ll take that 10 to 1 over a highly rated kid that’s going after NIL cash. What exactly do YOU mean by "tremendous upside potential "?
I would agree to that to a point. Spread offense has softened the RB position a bit.One RB used to carry the load for most teams. Today's RB's are soft.
How do you know these personal traits about him? Do you know him? Did you watch his games in high school? Are you his silent agent? Or are you making crap up to support your original proclamation? Hey wish him well but you don't know jack crap about him. He’s an underdog. Blue-collar kid from MD. Not a guy that everybody wanted, but has a chip on his shoulder with something to prove. I’ll take that 10 to 1 over a highly rated kid that’s going after NIL cash.
So that’s what I mean when I define tremendous upside potential because it totally has a different meeting these days. Finding these kids that want to go out prove themselves and to improve their talents is what WVU must establish.
There is no way we’re going to compete with NIL money. Texas has already been blasted for the recruiting techniques as it’s all focused on the financial gain coming to the University of Texas, our savior running back that took off to Tennessee has already signed a lucrative deal.
Thare the type of players that we’re going to have to build a foundation with regardless of who the coach is unless he is your used car salesman bringing the players in for the money. That will blow up in the face a few programs, but it is what it is now.
Essentially this kid signed with Delaware State, didn’t have much of a line, didn’t play against massive competition, but had to go somewhere to gain attention and we’re giving him a shot.
we acquired a similar back from Pennsylvania that was essentially cut from Maryland when the fridge took a scholarship away and that guy was pretty pissed off about it. He had a chip on his shoulder as well.
Actually I do know info about Sy’Veon. I’m catholic in the DMV area. He attended Lady of Good Counsel which is around 20k for tuition and made some noise. He got snubbed because he was in a private school IMO.How do you know these personal traits about him? Do you know him? Did you watch his games in high school? Are you his silent agent? I'll take the highly-rated kid over the "something to prove" kid 100 to 1. Kids of the former are playing on Monday. The latter ended their seasons in mid December playing a bowl in Las Cruces or Lake Charles. He’s an underdog. Blue-collar kid from MD. Wait, you're saying he was snubbed BECAUSE he went to Good Counsel? Because his competition was TOO good? That's exactly how legitimately snubbed players get found. Recruiters come to watch a star player and under-recruited players catch their eye.Actually I do know info about Sy’Veon. I’m catholic in the DMV area. He attended Lady of Good Counsel which is around 20k for tuition and made some noise. He got snubbed because he was in a private school IMO.
he’s a typical kid who played against other teams that had personnel go to power 5 schools and he wasn’t in the mix.
I’m saying that this private school and the comp level being so high probably hurt him as he would stand out even more at a AAA school.Wait, you're saying he was snubbed BECAUSE he went to Good Counsel? Every big program in the country is coming to watch St. Frances and DeMatha play, not to mention the few studs Good Counsel always has. That he likely played in front of recruiters ranging from Bama to Penn State to WVU to ODU to Shepherd every game in his career and only managed Delaware St is not a great sign. I hope I'm wrong.
Well if they are a Division 1 school...all the players there are by nature...Division 1 players.I’m saying that this private school and the comp level being so high probably hurt him as he would stand out even more at a AAA school.
You’re exactly right. Most of the schools have so many Division I players it’s not even funny, the better players are typically power five, and the best of the best go to Alabama LOL. It’s easy to get lost in a shuffle at some of these places. With the transfer portal being what it is, are we going to see a lot less Mack’s from Buffalo, Crosby’s from Eastern Michigan, etc… in the NFL?
Slow down, read, and you will see the subject matter referencing “schools” in which relates to the private schools having many division 1 players…. It appears I should’ve broken it down more for you.Well if they are a Division 1 school...all the players there are by nature...Division 1 players.![]()
Good reach and course correction...with a touch of diversion! However still empty logic.Slow down, read, and you will see the subject matter referencing “schools” in which relates to the private schools having many division 1 players…. It appears I should’ve broken it down more for you.
ClownSo compared to Mathis and Dixon this guy is what the program needs to Climb? If only we had an idea!
