You work for Hillary's campaign don't you?Last time I checked Syria is not the same nation as Iraq, and is not even on the same continent as Sudan. But they're all Muslim (or, at least that's what you think), so it's all good, right?
The parallels in today's climate in this country to the Sacco & Vanzetti persecution (which someone aptly noted above), Japanese interment, and McCarthyism is uncanny. All those events are horrible black marks on this country's history. In all those events, we simply dismissed whole groups of people with the labels of disloyal, dangerous and traitors because they looked and acted different than the majority of us and thus caused us to fear them. Is this what you want for this country again?
I never said the attack did not occur. Obviously there must be some evidence of that. The critical falsehood in the story was the attempt to pin the crime on Syrian refugees. That is what this thread is about after all.You were claiming the news story was false. Then you switched to it wasn't Syrians.
You work for Hillary's campaign don't you?
It's even more pitiful that you seek facts from Infowars. The knifepoint attack by "Syrian refugees" in Idaho was simply made up by lying xenophobes.
You would base our immigration policy over the worse-case scenario of what a Syrian immigrant's descendants might do to your kids 20 years from now? You really think this is a cogent, logical and Constitutionally sound argument?Ok do the little ol Syrian mom won't blow us up, but in 20 years my kids might get killed by her radicalized POS kids
Did you miss the part where I said "by Syrian refugees?"This is where you claimed the attack did not happen.
Did you miss the part where I said "by Syrian refugees?"
LMFAO right back at you.So you're going to hang your hat on that it was just Muslim immigrants but not Syrian Muslim immigrants? LMFAO!!!!
Over 70% of Sudan is Islamic. Iraq is universally Islamic.Which begs the question, how would you know any of these boys was Muslim?
What are you? 15-16 years old? The articles I saw said there WAS a sexual assault, just not a rape. Whether they used a knife or not is irrelevant to me.LMFAO right back at you.
Not only were they not Syrian, there was no murder, there was no rape, and there was no knife used. According to news articles, the initial report to the police was that there was an incident that involved something "a lot less serious than a sexual assault." The police and the prosecutor, of course, cannot really give out any actual details because the incident involves juveniles.
Which begs the question, how would you know any of these boys was Muslim?
Stop with the ad hominem and stick to the argument. I can guarantee I am plenty well-educated and experienced enough to engage in this argument with you. What are you? 15-16 years old? The articles I saw said there WAS a sexual assault, just not a rape. Whether they used a knife or not is irrelevant to me.
What are the odds of two boys from Sudan and one from Iraq, being Muslim?
I think plenty of 8, 10, and 13 year old Muslim children care an awful lot about religion. Can you guess what's about to happen in this picture?Stop with the ad hominem and stick to the argument. I can guarantee I am plenty well-educated and experienced enough to engage in this argument with you.
I quoted the police spokesperson who said that no sexual assault had occurred. The boys allegedly involved in this incident were 8, 10 and 13. You really think these were hardened, radical Muslim extremists? You really think these kids cared a rat's *** about religion at all?
That may well be true. But where is the evidence that any of these other "values" played any role into whatever happened to this little girl in Twin Falls, Idaho?Thats not what he's saying Vanillaslice, he's saying we all don't live in the same world. What we value in the US is not the same thing valued in Muslim countries.
Again, you take one extreme example and argue or imply that these three boys must have been cut from the same cloth? Where is the evidence? And don't just say it's because they were born in a predominantly Muslim country.I think plenty of 8, 10, and 13 year old Muslim children care an awful lot about religion. Can you guess what's about to happen in this picture?

Citizens of foreign countries, that are still in that Country are not covered by the Constitution.
We don't even know what happened, and probably never will because the record is and likely will remain sealed, so what do statistics about domestic violence have to do with this case?
You asked what 'values' these children possess that would relate to Islam. I provided evidence suggesting that the subjugation of women through violent means is not only common place in Middle Eastern countries, but encouraged through legislation and religious doctrine. Quit shifting the goalposts, Mr. Islam apologist. We don't even know what happened, and probably never will because the record is and likely will remain sealed, so what do statistics about domestic violence have to do with this case?

I can read just fine. If Fox News got only those two facts right -- "there was an incident and three immigrants arrested" -- would you still think it was a reliable news source? That's a pretty low threshold, don't you think?
It's true. Immigrants can be tortured for traffic tickets. I've read it on a web site.[/QUOTE
So the US constitution protects a Syrian thats in Syria right now?
Ripeness is all, said the poet.
Here's some of the result of a conflict between one Christian/Capitalist force and another Christian/Capitalist force.

You are now talking about whether women in foreign countries report incidents of domestic violence. How is that related to the Twin Falls case? Once you've answered that question, then tell me who is "shifting the goalpost." While you're at it, explain why you think I am an "Islam apologist" rather than someone who wants to see facts before jumping to conclusions. You asked what 'values' these children possess that would relate to Islam. I provided evidence suggesting that the subjugation of women through violent means is not only common place in Middle Eastern countries, but encouraged through legislation and religious doctrine. I know plenty of "feminist Muslims." If you don't see them, you are not looking hard enough or you simply don't care that they exist. Those feminist Muslims. They really value the equality of women.
Lol. Now you know plenty of Muslim feminists??? I don't want to call you a liar, so I'll just say, Hillary? Is that you?I know plenty of "feminist Muslims." If you don't see them, you are not looking hard enough or you simply don't care that they exist.
Don't speak for the deaths of military men in America. I promise you most of them would rather see you thrown into Iraq *** first than speak for them.
TIA
I was no more speaking for them then you are. Do you think that was the point of my post?
Lol. Now you know plenty of Muslim feminists??? I don't want to call you a liar, so I'll just say, Hillary? Is that you?
Lol, you two are ridiculous.Once you get beyond the coarsest of stereotypes, of course there are Islamic feminists. Do you think that all Muslims are like Quiverfull?
Lol, you two are ridiculous.
You mean like the world-renowned Islamic feminist Malala, who was stopped in transport to her school and shot in the head for continuing to pursue her education? Who then went on to claim that for Muslim women to be free, they had to renounce their faith and culture due to it being intrinsically oppressive?Once you get beyond the coarsest of stereotypes, of course there are Islamic feminists. Do you think that all Muslims are like Quiverfull?
