D’Ante “Tae” Davis, the younger brother of current Louisville forward Dre Davis, has decommitted from U of L.

Davis, who signed a national letter of intent to play for the Cardinals last November, said in a social media post that his decommitment stemmed from the recent coaching changes at U of L. He still left open the possibility of playing his college basketball at Louisville.

Was a point and time this would have upset me etc. Hate to see kids decomitting anywhere but with KP as the coach now . Just being honest we will have better recruits once he gets things rolling.

As long as CKP can bring in even better recruits, it doens't bother me that much either. We'll see who he can bring in to the fold.

Davis missed more layups/up-and-Ins than any player I can remember. He never progressed under Mack.

This bizarre 2021-22 season left me with questions about virtually everyone on this roster, including Dre Davis and Sam Williamson, who already entered the Portal.

I suspect KP had already talked to Sam, and possibly with Dre as soon as Tae de committed.

Tae decomitged most likely Becuase KP told Dre he wasn’t gonna play much or he needed to transfer and tae has always said he wants to play with his brother (someone mentioned Purdue as a landing spot for them)

Personally I hate to see it because Dre seems to be a hard worker that we’ll continue to get better. Not a starter but definitely can provide solid minutes. Seems like he is a good team player.

Dre was my favorite guy on the team because of his hustle and he seemed to stay engaged even when most other guys weren’t. That being said he doesn’t have the skill set to overcome his height and athleticism limitations.
