Bring him in, spend a gazillion man hours and resources to get him healthy enough to contribute and he says Sayonara. Great ROI.
That's why I'm against bringing in guys coming off an injury or who have a history of injury. If they get injured while they are here, then hell yes, I'm all for spending the resources to get those kids healthy in the event they can actually contribute.

I agree. But I’m pretty sure Brody’s car accident was after he was already here.

If that's the case, then NU did the right thing even though it didn't work out.

His situation is a little unique. I wonder if he would still be eligible for a medical hardship scholarship given the new 105 man roster.

One would have to assume he still wants to play or else he would have been put on medical at some point.
