Did Tago make it to Lincoln this week--if he did, haven't seen anything about his visit.

I'd guess he has a very low probability of committing regardless of whether there is a scholarship for him or not. In the end, Poly recruits just don't wind up choosing Nebraska these days. Most of them want to stay in the PAC.
I think Tago would already be committed if he was allowed to be. I think like Henry he is ready to be a Husker we just aren’t sure if we have room. Just my opinion but I think he’s all N if he’s allowed to be

Honestly, it depends on what position he wants to play. Nebraska wants him at QB. I believe Oregon State wants him on defense.

We are willing to give him a look at QB but honestly I think he ends up at LB.

I do think his presence at QB would open up an entire QB power run package - much like Frost ran while here - RBs are the lead blockers for the QB

What is different about his 3 finalists? OSU and Utah both have a good number of Poly players. NU, not so much. Unfortunately the Carl Pelini story of what he did to a Poly NU player's wife has become part of Poly folklore. We may never land another Poly football player again. I don't think we've gotten close with a single player of that descent since then.

Spill the beans about Carl. Hadn't ever heard anything regarding him and a former player's wife.

Perhaps we should hook him up to a “poly”graph....

"Allegedly" when he was a grad defensive assistant (D line for Bo) under Frank he bagged a young prized Poly D lineman's wife. The player transferred shortly. It was one of many things that contributed to Frank's departure. There was a whole layer of unprofessional off the field behavior that caused consternation from boosters and the AD's office during Frank's last couple of years including multiple instances of staff impregnating multiple young women who were not their own wives.

Funny how we always find a way to blame Bo.. if true, it’s Bo’s fault because he hired Carl.

Question. Is that frowned upon?

Well it's just a fact that since that incident that is widely known in coaching circles, we have not landed a single Poly player and we've offered a bunch. Coincidence? Hopefully. The amount of damage CARL did regardless of how one feels about Bo is undeniable. Carl's lack of actual recruiting when on recruiting trips cost us for long after he left. Carl created a bunch of ill will for Bo and definitely increased his stress level. Carl was a scumbag.

You’re right, but it’s safe to assume that Carl (who no one knew a thing about) was recommended by Bo.
Absolutely and one I guess had to expect little brother to stick up for Carl and help him provide for his nieces and nephews as best he can. I just feel bad for his wife and kids. It would be interesting to know the details of Carl leaving YSU this winter.

Not by some apparently but it was by multiple boosters, regents and SP.

It sounds like Carl recruited really well and was the ultimate closer

With all the stories about Carl hooking up with a booster"s wife and now this, I have one question. What did those women find attractive about Carl? I can't think of anything.

He had enough money to buy all the Runzas in the state.
