I like it who knows how the qb situation will end up remember when NU recruited Arron green Braylon heard and Ameer Abdullah most thought it would be green, heard, then ameer, look how that came about
He's all that, and a bag of std'sWhat
With all the stories about Carl hooking up with a booster"s wife and now this, I have one question. What did those women find attractive about Carl? I can't think of anything.
Yep, Ameer ended up being one of the best backs in the country, the other two were no were near that.I like it who knows how the qb situation will end up remember when NU recruited Arron green Braylon heard and Ameer Abdullah most thought it would be green, heard, then ameer, look how that came about
Interestingly enough- Damon Benning was out there in front on Abdullah- way before anyone- and aggressively. That was before Ameer had even seen any snaps in games.Yep, Ameer ended up being one of the best backs in the country, the other two were no were near that.
"Allegedly" when he was a grad defensive assistant (D line for Bo) under Frank he bagged a young prized Poly D lineman's wife. The player transferred shortly. It was one of many things that contributed to Frank's departure. There was a whole layer of unprofessional off the field behavior that caused consternation from boosters and the AD's office during Frank's last couple of years including multiple instances of staff impregnating multiple young women who were not their own wives.
Listening to Nate Clouse this morning on The Bottom Line, sounds like he has an extremely good arm and is very accurate. 38 TD's and 10 INT's this year. He's also 6'4" 225lbs so he would be a load if he got rumbling down field. I say get him here and let him try it at QB and if he doesn't make it there we can always use him on the defensive side of the ball at LB?
The Poly Community is a very interesting one. While not everyone is alike- the Poly Community is VERY tight and extremely family oriented. They are very respectful and work extremely hard. The parents are very supportive, expect a lot of their kids and the kids raised to be respectful to parents, coaches, teachers etc They are a coaches dream IMO
I had the pleasure of coaching a bunch of Polys in Reno, NV
BIG kids, they invited me to their church- you wouldn't believe how well behaved the kids were- they were in their own section totally unsupervised- down to about age 4 and totally fine.
Never had a problem with any of them- not one. Great people, great food and amazing Capella music in their own language. One of my players was 14, 6'3" 226 and ran a 4.9 40- great feet and aggression. His dad was 6'7" and played for Oregon. LOTS of vowels in the last names- lots of big smiles and very friendly people.
I really like this player- very physical, a man amoungst boys. Either as a package guy at QB on offense or an absolute beast at LB on D.
The deal is Utah has LOTs of Polys at the school and in the SLC area thanks to the LDS Church- might be a tough pull.
Another thing is a lot of them are Mormon. Ties into the family thing...it's hard to get them away from that part of the country due to the Mormon ties.
That's what I said in my post:

LDS- church is- Latter Day Saints AKA Mormons

Tago has the go ahead to commit. With the Huskers being limited on OV's, there is no way they bring someone in last weekend that doesn't have a committable offer.I think Tago would already be committed if he was allowed to be. I think like Henry he is ready to be a Husker we just aren’t sure if we have room. Just my opinion but I think he’s all N if he’s allowed to be
George and the cleaning lady in his office..... then she ratted him out when he gave her a shop damaged wool sweater Laughing Man that was a great show. Then there was George and his secretary in his office with the Yankees to whom he promised a raise during his passion...a raise he couldn't give. Classic.

Obviously.... I was just stating that I would love to get him here and sort it out then. Not that I was the only one saying that or claiming to be the first to say it."You say huh?" Funny, that's what the coaches already said would happen.
