He needed a redshirt year he didn't get to bigger and stronger, and acclimate. He's worked his *** off to get to this point.

It's just awesome to see how far he has come.
FWIW Maryland's determination to stop Glynn Watson opened up some things for Tai but his late drives to the rim were fantastic. Tai fortunately kept his turnovers under control today. That's been my biggest beef with his play this year. Good kid. Good player.

Having them both on the court at the same time is huge for us. No question.

Another great thing about the comeback was that the team didn't panic. They got it to single-digits at about 4:00 (I think) and just chipped away. Earlier in the half they were settling for a lot of jumpers, but showed a lot of poise down the stretch - Webster in particular, but everyone played smart and didn't try to be a hero.
