Tailgate Question>>>>>

I have seen 1 and only 1 of these flags in the Junction and I want to know where to get it.
It is a white flag with a brown/white saddle back English Bulldog on it.
I searched the internet last fall looking for one but to no avail.
Also, does anyone have a good recomendation for a flag pole,.....about 18-20' tall that is easy to put up and take down, hopefully disasembles for easy transportation.

Don't know about the flag. Maybe it was a Mack Truck flag?

The flagpole you need is at the campus bookstore, The Lodge, or Campus Bookmart. You need what I have - its a telescopic pole that plants into an L-shaped bracket which is made to run over by a vehicle. So your car holds down the bracket which holds this telescopic metal pole with flag poll hooks way up top.

the flag you are speaking of is very old. I remember the flag you are talking about from when I first started attentding games in the early 80's. You will probably have a hard time finding one.

The flag you speak of has the exact same bulldog on it as those George Shermon bulldog shirts. I see it in the junction also. I always thought it had something to do with that line of clothing..... could be wrong

It has been around quite a while. I see it at fb and baseball(sometimes) games but its been around longer than the bulldogs from George Sherman

So far me and the guy who always manages to sneak it into football games on the flagpole are the only ones I have seen. It's the Mack Truck flag from the 70's and they quit selling them awhile back, now they use a meaner(uglier) looking bulldog.

I bought mine from this crazy cat lady who flew the flag outside her house when she had pet parties with her friends(not kidding). Good for me that she kept it inside in a vacuum sealed bag when it was put up. I offered her a Grant and she took it.

I have the flag you are talking about. I received it as a gift from my uncle way back in the 80's. I have only seen a few like it in the past ten years. I used to fly it in left field lounge for every game. I have no clue where you would find one, might be pretty tough to get since they are so old.
