I think it's a bit of a shame, at least for the 6A and 5A title games, that they do not allow the crowd of the winning team to rush the field and celebrate. I remember crowds being allowed on the field when they were holding the title games at the UR stadium. Is this just a safety thing @ UVA or is it because they need the field to be cleared for the ceremony after the game? Are fans of the winning team allowed on the field at the other state championship sites?
