We need to have a discussion about popes roster building. I get the idea of having old guys that wont shy away in a big moment, but look whats happening right now, our old guys look awful in a big moment, and we are getting bear by a talented freshman, when will it be our turn

Brown shows you why you still need great freshmen. It also shows how Adidas not only pays Louisville more money than Nike does UK but also directs top talent to them. I’m not really surprised by tonight’s outcome. I’ve never thought we would have the record we had against great teams that we had last year when we had Lady Luck always favor us. I hope JQ gets healthy.

talent evaluation has been a problem for a long time, even under Cal. There's no reason why we should have so many guys on the floor with limitations.

if we wanted to spend money on older guys that come to play every game, that sounds good until a 18 year old comes and makes you look like a hs team
And MD gave up a LOT of open 3s in those 18 mins. He kept sagging off his guy and his guy would end up with an open 3.

When UL made that run after we went up 22-19 we had a lineup that couldn’t guard or score for several minutes.

Brown reminded me of Maxey out there tonight. I'm really praying Pope brings in top freshman to pair with high level transfers. It's UK, there should be absolutely no lowering of standards when compared to all other top programs. KU, Duke, UNC and UL are having no issue signing top players in this new era of NIL. We shouldn't be having any trouble either.

quit it, you were probably one kf those people that thought we would go in there and stomp them, anyone with two eyes and a brain know and understand that this team is just not that talented, a big reason why they commentators say "the rivarly is finally back" is not only because louisville has a better coach and players, but its MAYBE because we dont have our hall of fame coach that came to louisville and stomped them year in and year out with PROS not future accountants
