Florida, UGA and Michigan in the same season doesnt mean much. And before you go on and on about these teams being "down", I dont think a team that loses to Jacksonville 17ing State and Vandy at home has any room to talk about "down" teams. <div>

It's recruiting season and you are wondering why anonymous posters on a college sports message board are acting paranoid and retarded? Did you just start following college football yesterday? This happens every year. It drives me up the wall sometimes but this isn't out of the ordinary. There's a lot of conspiracy theories being bandied about but really that is irrelevant. The real issue is this time each year all of us are trying to discern the logic used by highschool students to determine where they want to go to college. That will always be an exercise in futility. It's a bit retarded that we do it every year. By spring practice we'll forget about all of this. But in December we'll just start this up again.

You've beat us the last two years on the field and you don't care about recruiting, and therefore this situation doesn't bother you.

I wish I possessed the peace and calm that you guys have. The kind of peace and calm that comes from not being obsessed with the shittiest team in the SEC West.

Ole Miss was the shittiest team in the WHOLE SEC.

I though that Big Dickie was still in jail and Little Dickie was at a halfway house for criminals. Did big Dickie have a weekend pass?Does the range oflittle Dickie's anklet reach that area where the duck hole is? It must be great to have friends to getthe money flowing again.

Have you considered the fact that you're on a Mississippi State message boardbecause you're irrelevant everywhere else?

We're the only people left that notice the existence of OM, and that's only during recruiting season and when we're laughing at the downfall of your football and basketball programs.

Now.... carry on.

seeing that John Bond is NOT a booster of affiliated with State like the people that were being discussed. Second sentence confirms your idiocy for even knowing enough Andrew Dice Clay to quote him! Lonely Friday and Saturday nights watching old Comedy Central stand-up episodes on your couch with your cats much??

The recruiting threads have all been about players that are choosing between OMU & State. Why would Bama, LSU, Arkansas, & AU even be a factor in the discussion. Until the last couple of days, we weren't going head to head with any of those schools over any of the big four recruits that are being discussed. Now that Whitehead looks to be heading to AU, they are in the story. However, State losing a 4* DB to the National Champions is understandable. What isn't understandable is losing Johnson when he had been committed for over a year; a guy that had repeatedly dogged your team and your program. Losing a guy that was committed for that long on the heels of a 9-4 season, a Gator Bowl thrashing of Michigan, and a win over your rival on their field makes it kind of hard to understand why Johnson would suddenly choose that same rival who was 4-8 (1-7) and played in front of dozens of fans at home in the second half of their games.

Yes, we finished 5th in the West with a 4-4 conference record, a 9-4 overall record, and ranked 15/16. Yes, you finished "only" 1 spot lower as 6th in the west, but you did it with a 1-7 conference record and 4-8 overall record. Don't make it sound like he choose between a 6-6 (3-5) State team and a 5-7 (2-6) Ole Miss team because you know the drop from 5th to 6th in the west this season was precipitous.

I think the confusion is from when did Ole Miss become such the world beater? It's not why didn't they commit to us, its why did they commit to yall? You accuse us of being at the bottom and felt it necessary to come over here and comment on a thread. You want to let us know that it is funny that we would expect our commitments to actually commit to us. Answer this question... As ****** as state is in football, why would four top commits choose the one school In the west that's shittier than us? That's where the confusion is. Do you need directions to Omaha, Atlanta, or the final four while your here?

I was only reading. But since you're talking about my team, I figured I'd finally chime in.
Where were you and your bowtie buddies after the Egg Bowl? Hell every other thread was about the Bears then too right? Where were you after the assbeating at the Sad Pad? Every other thread was about UM then too.

Publicly, it was Brassell, Whitehead, and Johnson.

Why do you think Brassell committed out of the blue? Do you think it was because he just "loved" MSU that much? Do you think it was solely based on his buddy Market?

Why do you think Whitehead committed so early? Do you think it was "love" for MSU?

Why do you think Johnson committed when he did? Yet again, "love" for MSU?

If you're (plural) going to talk **** about people cheating in recruiting, maybe you should look in your own damn mirror. You didn't get commitments from those kids with one-time "offers", nor did you get them based on your football season, your coaches, or playing time.

But frankly, I will be willing to bet Market has a more successful career in college than Brassell. The writing is on the wall with this clown. One of three things is going to happen to idiot: (1) he either will not qualify and will be sweeping floors at the BCC before December, (2) he goes to Bama only to be cut by Saban after his RS freshman year or (3) he ends up in Oxford only to get kicked off the team by December.<div>
</div><div>I made a similar bet with a Rebel Bear regarding Bumphis and Patty Pat about this time two years ago and I cashed the 17 in.

Rondo has got to be the biggest dumbass to ever come over here. To even attempt to downplay our season after the season they had is just idiotic. It would be MUCH easier for us to downplay their 2009 season where they were 4-4 in league play while we were 3-5, their strength of schedule ranked some 30 spots below ours and we beat their *** 41-27 at least we would have a legitimate argument.

The fact that we didn't do that since we're not dumb enough to downplay a Cotton Bowl season when we were 5-7(3-5)

+

This idiot over here trying downplay a Gator Bowl season while his team was 4-8(1-7)

=

The definition of obsession!

Not that it's a bad thing I rather enjoy the obsession the Rebels have for us, it makes for some good reading .
