I do consider BEATING a team as being competing. What the hell difference does the quality of the competition make?

There is no doubt that our Defense is better than 2003, but can you say our offense and special teams are any better than 2003? I sure as hell can't. We avg. 320 yards in 2003 and 276 in 2008. We avg. 18.8 ppg in 2003 and 15.2 in 2008. We avg. over 40 yards a punt with 2 punters in 2003 and Shank has a 38.6 avg this year. We were 8-10 on FG in 2003 and Carlson was 7-13 with 5 of them missed inside 40 17ing yards. The fact of the matter is that 1/3 of our team is better than 2003 and your dumbass is happy with that.
