But…….its never hit 100 in Tampa. Thats interesting for sure. The Tampa climate has always been protected by daily afternoon summer rains that cool off the area. Now, thru climate change, Temperatures are going right thru old norms.

Not really.....but the tin foil hat wearing rubes are definitely making it to be interesting. It hit 98 in 1975.....50 years ago for those doing the math.
Thanks for making my point. Tampa is hitting all time high temperatures.

I live in the Ft. Lauderdale area. I think people naturally assume it gets 100 here or over. But it is almost always in the 90-93 range in the summer. Consistently hot the same way each day. And 90 here feels just as hot or hotter than 100 does elsewhere in the eastern part of the country.

I am a native of Pinellas County and it is always a few degrees cooler in the summer than across the bay. We are a Peninsular with water on 3 sides, plus a nice breeze off of the Gulf of Mexico. I doubt it has ever been 100 degrees.

Now I live 55 miles North on the Gulf and we are usually in the low to mid 90's in the peak of summer. Never 100.

I would begin to worry if it got cold in the summer months. Heat in July is expected and it has been since man began. I like it like that.

I saw that. I was surprised to learn it had never happened before.
They've only been recording temps for what...about 200 years? Tampa (before it was known as Tampa obviously) could have hit over 100 thousands of times before temps were recorded.

Going along this line of reasoning, yesterday was the hottest day in Tampa, Fl in the last 73,000 days

In addition to these records, several cities experienced near-record or record-tying temperatures:

Uh, yeah, uh, …. but that’s not Tampa!!!!
Tampa has his 100 degrees, in 1848. It was before NWS. So again, the sheeple are trying to claim "climate change" as a end of world doomsday even though it continues to get proven false.
Uh, yeah, uh … but industrial age started in 1760!!!!

Tampa reach a New all time High of 100. None of your arguments can dispute this
I know I shouldn't do this, as you will simply pivot to some other point, but it’s easy to dispute this claim. All-time means ALL TIME, you know the billions of years the earth has been around. I think I pointed this out to you before the merge in the old climate change thread, but the earth, including the land Tampa is on, has been FAR hotter in the past. Hell, someone in the thread pointed out Tamps hit 100 in 1948. Either way, we’ve been a lot hotter than we were this week or last week or the week prior.

Hence, your all-time claim is simply not correct.
