Not the least of which is calling ******** on the projections that their revenue split from the PAC-16 could possibly be as big as their revenue split from the SEC. Especially if the SEC only expands to 14.

I don't think Texas will blackball them. And if they do, so what? I agree with the writer- the SEC fits A&M. It does not really fit Texas. I have been to Austin, and while the city is "cool"- I really wasn't THAT impressed with it compared to other cities I've been to- it is definately the Southwest. That would be a painful road trip going out there because it takes about 12 hours to drive there from Jackson, much less somewhere like Gainesville. Yes, SEC fans would make the trip, but it would suck.

As an SEC fan, I like Texas A&M much better. I certainly would have no problem taking them- but screw Texas. Heck, they already think that they are better than everyone in the SEC as it is. I say screw them. If that's the case, let them be independent if they are so good. Yes, most schools have fans that feel entitled in the SEC, but no one except for maybe Alabama comes close to Texas as far as arrogance. Not to mention that Texas feels like they are better academically than everyone else in the SEC for some God unknown reason. They act like they are Harvard with a D-I football team. Lastly, their fans dress like a bunch of ***** cowboys. And don't get me started on their band uniforms, which are by far the worst in the country. I was a band nerd, but by God I would dress up like Boy George before I wore that ****- although I'm not really sure what the difference is.

But Texas A&M, I think that's a good fit for us as a conference. I really wouldn't mind going out there for a game at all.

I hope they join.
