I can’t believe TA said the 2024 Diamond Dawgs have more talent than the 2021 team. I find that hard to believe after what we saw the last 2 seasons.

Talent doesn’t include leadership, intangibles, and certain guys entering the zone. He and Bednar were both as locked in as you could get at critical moments. Of course Sims was all time filthy.

This team will need guys like Kholer and Hujsak to be good enough to protect Jordan and Hines. The pitching will need to get to where the staff is approaching average. If there are one or two elite arms they’ll have to emerge. Can’t see them from here.

Foscue may get a chance to compete for DH in TX. It will be tough since Lankford has skyrocketed up each level and TX already has 3 solid outfielders. Lankford could get that spot and rotate between the outfielders and DH since 2 of TX outfielders are solid at all 3 spots.

One thing is for certain if Foscue tears up spring training this year like last year he will debut this year!

You are right pitching will be key but no matter how much talent you gotta have leadership and have guys step up to be LEADERS like TA Rowdy and Jake were. That was missing last year. Hines and Jordan need to be those guys!

I didn’t. We were celebrating in the parking lot and security came around and said that they locked he gates at 11. If we stayed then they would let us out at 7am The next day. We had 15 minutes to pack up and leave. None of us were going to sleep so we decided to drive south until we got tired. Stopped for breakfast just south of St Louis, had lunch at the house.
