whats everyone’s thoughts? Both undefeated and both blowing their opponents out! Two top 10 teams and potentially the two representatives for the east.

The QB for Pamlico is a straight up baller! He's the biggest reason they are undefeated and doing so well.

With that being said, I believe Tarboro has so many more athletic players, and this game could very well be another blowout, but in Tarboro's favor. IMO the Vikings are one of the top teams in the state, regardless of classification.

Their QB is fantastic, also an excellent basketball player. Their depth will be a concern against a team like Tarboro. Pamlico will have to play a near perfect game for this to be close in the 4th. Long methodical penalty-free drives wearing down the opposing D and keeping that Tarboro O on the sidelines. Easier said than done, but hoping for a good game.

In the preseason I thought Tarboros offense would be the strong point, but halfway through the year I could make the argument that Tarboro’s D is the strong point.

Looking at Pamlicos stats it doesn’t look like they pass a lot which could make it hard for them to sustain drives on Tarboro. I think it’s going to be hard for teams to line up and run the ball against Tarboros front.

I think the Canes will come out with some unscouted looks on Friday night. Their coach knows a different beast will be on the opposing sidelines this week.

My opinion is very simple. Until proven otherwise Tarboro is the team to beat. They are very explosive out of the backfield but what makes them more dangerous this year vs past years.. this year they are passing for touchdowns as well as running them! Their defense plays angry all over the field with big hard hits that you hear in the stands.. I think Pamlico will honestly be wore out by mid 2nd quarter of play. Tarboro wins this one by a score of 47-14
