Did they change this stupid rule that no one can figure out ?
Tonight in the Uconn game , a late hit on a special teams play by a Uconn player sends the nc state guy onto a stretcher . But that’s just a 15 yard penalty and less egregious than targeting ?
These stupid rules don’t make sense.

Does anyone understand this rule ? In Illinois/Kansas game they just ejected Kansas defender. There was no call on the field and announcers said it wasn’t targeting. . Then they review it and eject the guy .

As usual announcers have no clue what they are talking about

Absolute horse **** targeting in the Kansas game. Coach has a right to be livid. QB was tackled at the waist as he threw it. No lowering of the crown.

The thing that sucks is that “targeting” seems so much easier to determine then they make it.
Clear hit to the head or next with intent and launching.
Going for a tackle with your head to the side or low and the ball handler decides on a late slide and or move that makes for an obvious inadvertent glance- use some dame commen sense

Another joke of a targeting call. This ref needs to get off his knees, he's blowing the game
