I voted for him I expected a higher degree of sophistication in the rollout

Extremely disappointed, it’s only the beginning

Little noticed in all the media hysteria over the stock "sell offs", are the tremendous bargains available now for savvy value hunters. Sellers obviously have buyers, and if some investors are cashing in on their earnings right now, that means someone is also buying those sold options at literally cents on the dollar!

The stocks aren't just "disappearing", P/E ratios are lower and this panic selling means plenty of options are going at or below market valuations. That's not such a bad thing if you're in it for the long haul or you're willing to park a few trading options for a while until the bull market reignites. (and it WILL reignite!) There are literally trillions of dollars in new investment Capital in the pipeline & headed for the United States over the next few months and those dollars will fuel the next level of wealth generation and economic expansion.

If you're interested in investing, now would be a great time to get into the market and stake out a few select options that are poised to soar in the near future.

For me...I'm going "all in" on energy positions, transportation, real estate, technology, and consumable commodities (sugar, grain, wheat, and retail apparels).

Bon Appetit! :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

We are one to four months away from a bottom

Explain in *** bleeding detail how you would have done it? Leave nothing out. This has been going on for decades. Your game plan on how you would have done it? Go!

They had months to prepare for this. Tariff percentage formula they used was really something from a sixth grade arithmatic class. They really should have tied it to actual tariffs being applied by foreign countries . That decision was just incomprehensible.

First, are you aware of the formula they used?

If so, I can continue for you.

Keep going that way we can see if your plan is better or you are just complaining because you don’t really support this Administration.

I'm buying now, and we aren't going to get "crushed". Smart money says this market turns around in a couple of weeks. Never follow panic...follow the hard numbers. Employment is booming, investments are pouring in. Inflation is subsiding. Energy prices are tumbling. All those indicators suggest.....

It coming!

I voted for him. That doesn’t mean when he epically ***** up that people should not be extremely disappointed

This was an incredible blunder

But if you think I need to treat him like a pope, you can feel free to do so

Right now on MSM there are lots of Democrat talking heads who understand that this Trump policy is popular amongst American workers. So instead of attacking the policy they are attacking the procedure. Why? Because they want status quo and they don't want to lose voters.

So type us up a point paper on how you would have done it so we can all see if you really have a better plan.

The Senate is poised to pass the first draft of the economic plan to make the tax cuts permanent, and reduce our deficit spending. Once that plan is reconciled with the House version and we get "one big beautiful bill", it'll be 'Katy bar the door' for all the new money that will begin flowing through this economy!

By summer, we will be rolling.

Extending The tax cuts and reducing federal spending is exactly what we need to be doing.

But anybody supporting this atrocious tariff rollout is just a cultist.

It really is the worst implementation of what could’ve been a productive policy adjustment. Anybody who thinks this has gone well, that’s kind of all I need to know.

All I’m saying is, we just dug a hole that didn’t need to go this way

Thoughtful, intelligent counterpoint.

Again, I voted for Trump

Sure you did. You sound like someone trying to convince people to have buyer's remorse. American Workers are excited as well as people who want to start a buisness and not compete against slave labor.

I’m for smart application of tariffs, this ain’t it. They pulled the formula from ChatGPT basically. It’s ridiculous. China just cape back at us with a massive increase. Supply chains and manufacturing take time to build/ramp up, not months, but years. In the mean time, whoa Nelly, dumpster fire. This is nightmare fuel for any company that pulls parts / materials from outside the US. Expect a lot of businesses to collapse over this.

You told me you worked in the Intelligence Community and Served in the Marine Corps. I haven't seen anything You have posted that convinces me that's true. I have seen where you posted several years ago illegals should be allowed to vote. Along with a bunch of other far left policies.

This isn't rocket science. Other countries can cancel the tarriffs they charge us and this ends. If not they can pay. This is a negotiation. The only people complaining are latched on the cheap labor CCP tit.

Too early to tell. Plenty of countries are negotiating now to lower their tariff prices to us & plenty more may come along? I think it's really premature calling the shift in tariff strategy a "disaster". Hey even a rotten tooth hurts to get pulled right?

After a while though, you're glad the pain is gone and you usually get back to normal and sometimes it's even better! ;)

If it ends with everyone setting at zero it's a win.

If the Democrats burn **** down tomorrow over it they can accepted the consequences.

I suspect that's Trump's ultimate goal, but some countries can't afford zero income from their trading. Still, the idea is to level the playing field so we're not paying through the nose for access to their markets. If they don't want to pay us the same confiscatory rates they're charging, lower our rates! Simple.

My point is it could’ve been so much more seamless if properly executed.

Nobody should get a pass for that

Sophisticated implementation could’ve made this so much better

All the sp called experts can sit this one out. We have a 20+ trillion trade deficit and are 37 Trillion in debt. I'm willing to support Trump and give this a chance. We were going Bankrupt soon anyways so this isn't the gamble some are making it out to be.

Our annual trade deficit is Just over $900 billion a year. We really need to address this.

This rollout is a freakin clown show. It could have been done so much more.Effectively.

But hey, keep telling me this was the best way to do it

Which is literally every publicly traded company in one respect or another. I don’t hate the application of tariffs, this is something else. I agree it’s a negotiation, and it is exposing the EU and some of the other “partner” states of their hypocritical ********. For instance, the EU was set to enact a whole bunch of stuff on us that would severely increase costs of our goods to do business in the EU tied around green energy and supply chain fairness. They’re having problem turning their heads directly to China and ignoring those requirements. Which, to me, says those actions were designed to weaken us.
