I think Bumphis could do well in the NFL.

You saw what he did this year with a good QB throwing to him. Led the SEC in receiving TDs and he caught a lot of balls. He was absolute money across the middle this year. I think his stock is going to go up as we approach the draft.

I think the combine could make or break Bumphis. He's gonna have to post a

good 40 time.

Combine may determine his draft position

But, regardless he will get a chance with someone.
It won't make or break him.

What was that white slot receiver MSU had that Croom ruined the career of? Can't do worse than him.

being projected as a slot WR, his 40 time just needs to not be awful. but he needs to put up a good shuffle time to show off his quickness.

Yeah agreed. I could've stated that better. Could make the

difference between him being a middle round pick versus a late round pick. I also think in order for Chad to latch on somewhere he's got to be in the right system. Could also make a team based on special teams.

Lance Long
Yes. No excuse for Bumphis not to have at least the career Lance Long has had. Several years after not being allowed on a practice squad he's still all over training camps.

And Bumphis is a lot better than Long. I won't be surprised to see him drafted 6th/7th round or undrafted and make a 53 man roster. Or make a practice squad and make the 53 in year 2. Think Colston.
