Texas - video was pretty cheesy - looked a bit stupid with the cows turning into players
Clemson - very, very good
S. Carolina - pretty good

Can't find video of it (didn't search too much), but I still think LSU's is one of the best when the Golden Band plays "Hold that Tiger" to the 4 corners right before the team enters. Place goes bonkers.

If we were going to use some canned music for an entrance, I love this song (video is irrelevant) - mash-up of "Back in Black" and "We Will Rock You" with some Snoop added... Combination of the two greatest stadium rock anthems ever.

among those that thought that the UT video was dumb.

In fact, I would have to say that was the worst one I have EVER seen. That's what happens when you let Star Trek geeks design your pregame video. And even worse, it's Texas. They have SO many angles that they could go off of and make a decent video- Ricky Williams, Earl Campbell, Vince Young, it's not like they're Ball State.

I liked the VT one. The rest are pretty lame

They show pretty creative videos of the Cavalier riding around town on the horse, doing different **** for every game, then the video appears to go live and it shows him riding up the tunnel and all of the sudden he is in the stadium. At some point the Cavalier hands off his sword to the captains for each game I think, then they come out with the sword.

There used to be video on the net but I cant find it now. Sometimes they are a little ghey, but overall pretty good idea.

they should draw off the talent of the fans. Just look at the fark board, there are obviously some people who are willing to put some time in. They should make the footage available for download and have a contest allowing fans to come up with a intro to run on the video board. Hell, you could show a different fan created intro each game. would draw people in more and make game day more interesting. I would definitely find it fun to see a different, well done, intro each game.

BTW, why was Celmpson playing LSU's fight song?

I rememerb liking the Celtics video a lot before their playoff games. Using the music from a movie like Requiem for a Dream seemed like a pretty ballsy choice to me, but it turned out pretty good.

I think we should light the inflatable helmet on fire as our players are running out of it. Just think how intimidating we would look with pieces of burnt plastic all over our helmets and jerseys.

Seriously - all we need is a better theme and better timing. I understand the tradition behind "Bad to the Bone" but all we really need out of that song is the 5 second starting clip. There is nothing really special about South Carolina's entrance, it is just that the 2001 Theme Song (or whatever it is) just sounds good. We just need a good timeless song that gets people fired up.

Second - the timing needs to be improved upon - the band is generally not coordinated with the jumbotron. Sometimes the team runs out while highlights are still playing, etc. There needs to be more of a build-up.

it would be a thirty minute compilation of songs that would lead up to the one song (thunderstruck AC/DC) that the team came onto the field to. Very similar to how Virginia Tech does the intro but instead of enter sandman it is our song. Thirty minutes is a good amount of time because it lets you know to get into your seats.

some moron on here who thinks culberson is horrible (NFL linebacker) thinks that i blow the helmets up at the game? i'm not even sure who it was. this is the same moron that thinks a NBA coach with multiple NBA championship rings is a failure...go figure

You couldnt beat Rage Against the Machine for a good intro. I will add in that it will never happen because some of the purple haired old ladies might have heart failure. But it is a good blend of rock with some rap influences. I'm not a big fan of heavy rock......but if this song was playing as an intro i think it might cause spontaneous impregnation....which would eventually increase the size of the bulldog nation. So it's a win/win.

we all really respect what you do for our school every Saturday, but don't let it go to your head now. And yes he is a failure. A rec-spec wearing, coat tail riding, got fired because I could not win with Shaq AND Kobe failure.

constantly rave about the 2001 entry thing. I have been there for a few games since they started doing it and they get all choked up over it. On the flip side, they bail from the stadium quicker that any set of fans I have ever seen. If there is a comfortable lead or a two TD deficit going into the fourth quarter, 1/4 of the fans leave. If they are winning, they hang around the parking lots to antagonize the departing fans. If they are losing they are settled into a bar in Five Points by the time the final gun sounds.

you know, alot of people yelling and screaming and using their "noisemakers". Then we wouldn't need a video, music, etc.

But since we don't have that and likely never will, I vote for "Who Let Them Dawgs Out?", the original 1999 version.

Well obviously they leave early because they're anxious to get back to tailgaiting on the asphalt that is all around their stadium.
