Heard yesterday that our team was fighting the flu bug going around, but I haven't seen anything else about it. Any of you folks heard anything along these lines?

I know Cal passed out germ-x to the team this week and we did look a step slow, but I haven't seen anything else about it.

Def didn't look like our old self yesterday. Not sure which players were fighting the bug but the whole team looked out of it. If anyone has ever tried to play a game with the flu then they know it's darn near impossible to play up to potential. Would love to know which players were affected.

Cal also said he thought the team didnt take UCLA seriously and came out thinking it was an easy win.............probably something they picked up from the arrogance of our fans.

Well if UCLA had lost they could have said that they had 2 rotation players injured and played a late game on Wed. And had to fly cross country to play in a game that started at 930 am their time . All things considered, UCLA's win was impressive.

Not one player looked like they were on their A-game. All a little slower, not mentally there. Makes sense.

Don't care what anyone says.. It's a factor. If our guys didn't have whatever was going around and we got the proper calls that UCLA got at home last year.. Kentucky wins by 8.

Wait.. We didn't have a shoot around either?

Was he trying for a loss? Lol. Maybe he got the flu and gave it to the team.

And lmfao for what has to come together for even a top10 team to get a win on us: home cooking for UCLA, entire team is sick, no practice before the game.

Congrats NCAA, you earned this one. Better hope you can get this trifecta come March.
