Schools that have won recently and have been to bowl gamesrecently that played poorly last year have owned recruiting this year.

Texas 5-7 Currently 2nd on Rivals
USC 8-5 Currently 5th on Rivals
Georgia 6-7 Currently 7th on Rivals
Notre Dame 8-5 Currently 9th on Rivals
Clemson 6-7 Currently 10th on Rivals
Tennessee 6-7 Currently 12th on Rivals
Florida 8-5 Currently 13th on Rivals
Cal 5-7 Currently 14th on Rivals
Ole Miss 4-8 Currently 18th on Rivals
Washington 7-6 Currently 22nd on Rivals
Michigan 7-6 Currently 24th on Rivals
Louisville 7-6 Currently 25th on Rivals

9 teams with a losing record or 1 game above .500 are in the Top 25 in recruiting. That is almost unheard of that so many top teams and winning teams had bad years last year. All can sell immediate playing time and immediate impact. Seems like it was a bounce back year for a lot of programs, and I think in a year like this, we just got beat out by a lot of schools who have more and bettertradition, money, facilities, and playing time. We are pretty decent at a lot of spots on the field, and with the age of instant gratification for these younger kids, these kids wanted to go to some bigger schools where that could happen next year.

I've never understood that. Do recruits not have tv's? Can they not access the internet? Can they not rea...oh wait. Anyway, if I was a recruit THIS year watching THIS season, I want to be a part of THIS team RIGHT NOW. Don't get the next year thing.
