then give him an upgrade from willis mcgahee who is like 157 years old and a good TE and that same defense.they have zero weapons on the outside so pretty much anyone in the leagues starting wrs are an upgrade.

I am not sure there are two or three that could win with what he has now.

Who cares about points scored? What?

30QB'sin the leagueare averaginga higher yards per attempt, completion %,total yards per game(running included), and QB rating than Tebow had last night. The worst offense in theNFL averages more points and total offense than the Broncos had last night.
That is right. I mean it when I say "Who cares about points scored?". Winning is all that matters. Would you honestly rather lose 45-42 than win 6-3? I will take the win any day of the week. Football is a team game. Things are often done that decrease your chances of scoring, but increase your chances of winning. If it was all about scoring points, coaches would never punt on 4th and 10. They punt because preventing points is just as important. The Broncos are playing field position, don't turn it over, grind the clock football. Right now it is working. Tebow is helping them win. Sometimes it is by making the right plays. Sometimes it is by not making the wrong plays (like Sanchez throwing a pick 6).

There is only one stat in the entire game of football that means diddly crap. That is the score. The one with the most points wins. All the rest is just bullcrap.

So is Knowshon Moreno, at least right now, and he was pretty effective last year too. Orton also had Gaffney, who is not all world but still probably better than any current Broncos receiver besides Decker. Kyle Orton had the reigns for the early part of this season AND he had Lloyd, how did that work out? I will help you out, he was 1-4. Orton was also 3-10 last year as a starter I believe. But wait, he threw for 3600yds, who cares? The reason Lloyd was lobbying so hard for Orton is because he wanted the ball, not because he wants to win, that should be pretty obvious.<div>
</div><div>Look, I hate the Broncos, but I like Tebow. I am just saying, he doesn't have to be a traditional QB to be a successful QB. John Fox might be right, but why would you run a regular offense with Tebow? Moreover, if he had a gamebreaking threat at RB and a gamebreaker at WR, that would open up the passing game. I am not arguing that he is going to become Joe Montana, I am just saying that I think he can get it done and I think he could be even more effective if he had some help. </div><div>
</div><div>Let me put it this way, I think if Tebow and Sanchez switched sides last night, the Jets would have won the game. </div><div>

Well we'll see how much they continue to win if the offense scores 10 like they did last night. Bottom line is, their defense is going to have to continue to play like that or the offense is going to have to pick it up, or there are going to be a few more 45-10 L's like the one to Detroit.

Hell, one of Sanchez's best passes last night was a dump off to Joe McKnight. It doesn't have to be about threading a post route 40 yds downfield. If he had the players and the coaches schemed it right, he could easily eclipse 200yds a game passing just throwing to RBs and TEs. Philip Rivers and Jay Cutler have been pretty much doing just that.
