The blue does make them look slim.Navy is really slimming.
Probably did not fit Leach's system. Not everybody does/did.Leach didn’t think so..
I can’t imagine that Tennessee gives a **** about this game. Plus they’re not very good anyway.Illinois may be smaller, but they're winning.
Love his pump fakes...very effective getting receivers open.Altmeyer looking good.
That is how you manage game clock. Now got to make the FG.Illinois should win with decent clock management.
Looks like they drained clock, and won the game.Illinois should win with decent clock management.
I remember saying this at the 1991 Liberty Bowl when Air Force came out of the tunnel and we had the largest O Line in the country but also the slowest evidently.Hard to believe they are Big10. That D Lins looks tiny.
Our team was convinced like it was just a big party, and we played like it.I remember saying this at the 1991 Liberty Bowl when Air Force came out of the tunnel and we had the largest O Line in the country but also the slowest evidently.
Our 'almost win' vs. them (and others) is looking worse and worse.UT did not beat an FBS team with a winning record this year...
He throws too far for Leach’s system.Leach didn’t think so..
Tennessee has some athletes, good Lord. How they are 8-5 is unfathomable. Poor coaching, maybe?Hard to believe they are Big10. That D Lins looks tiny.
Amen brother! The coffee talk around work this morning was all about how poorly the SEC plays in bowl games and that it is not a 'good look' for the conference. I replied, "I hope they all lose. I hate them all." Everyone was stunned, ha. "You have to pull for the SEC blah blah blah yada yada yada." I asked them how an SEC with a strong bowl/post-season record helps Mississippi State (all are State fans.) "Well, it shows the rest of the country how good we are down here blah blah." I just laughed and said 17 em.UT is one of the 15 SEC teams I hate .
I think they did not take it seriously until the end when they were in trouble. Only about 4 minutes of the entire game did they seem like they were in it.Tennessee has some athletes, good Lord. How they are 8-5 is unfathomable. Poor coaching, maybe?
In any particular year, no, it does not matter to us. But we do make more money because the SEC is known as the best and over time we'll take a hit if the conference consistently looks as weak as it has last year and this year.Amen brother! So is the AZ St win. They're now 8-4, out of the Top 25 and a +3.5 underdog later against DukeOur 'almost win' vs. them (and others) is looking worse and worse.
