Arkansas' RPI dropped from #35 to #43.

People griping about how hard our schedule has been

should really look at this. I'd take losing to Vandy or USCe over Tennessee any day of the week. With this loss, there is a good chance they lost their chance at a host spot.

Amen, I think we got completely jobbed on our schedule by the SEC office, but this is where it pays off.

We got swept by Vandy and then swept Bama and our RPI basically stood still drifting slightly between #8 and #11 over the last 2 weeks more in response to the performance of teams we've already played than the results of our own games. I expect much of the same over the last 7 games.

I was referencing earlier posts about people saying we got a screw job by the SEC on the schedule. I made the reference a few weeks ago that the strength of schedule from here out was a 2 edge sword and Arkansas had little to no room for error. They just lost to a very bad UT team. They really can't afford to lose another game this season if they want to continue to even be in the hunt for a regional spot because of their losses and RPI to this point.

I still just can't see how a committee is going to give them a host spot...Would be the highest RPI of an SEC team to ever get to host by about 10 spots...

IMO, Clemson, Arizona St, South Alabama, or UCLA gets their spot as of now... Lose one more, and it's a done deal...

For some reason I read that as USC lost to UT. You're right that ark is dead. They were dead before this weekend started anyway.
