Tennessee looks like a very winnable game now

its clear now we can at least score some points when t. lee is the QB. our defense is coming off a lights out performance. although tennessee may have much better players they are getting to the point where they don't give a ****. knoxville will not be as intimidating as it should be due to the fact they will be to busy letting their own coaches/team have it. they want fulmer gone and if state sets the tone and forces a 3 and out on the first drive the crowd will turn. i think its a very winnable game because they're 2nd string qb is now their first sting qb and it looks like he is worse. plus they make stupid mistakes (just now had to blow a t.o. after not having enough people on the field while punting inside their 5). if we can control the ball like we did today and the defense can kick *** again i don't see any reason we can't come out of knoxville with a win.

.....good enough and smart enough to take advantage of a very vulnerable UT team. IF we win that game, then maybe there's some hope.

I think if we can move the ball and play good field position (4yd punts not withstanding) like we did today then we can beat UT.

and 14 pts. be all they'll need to score against us to make it hard on us. Winnable, yes, but I'm still chalking it up as a loss for us next weekend. Should be a good game, though.

Number 1) We won't control the ball like we did today because we won't be able to run it on UT like we did Vandy. Their run defense is pretty decent.

Number 2) Our defense will have more trouble stopping the UT running game than Vandy's.

Other than that, I like our chances......................

Croom usually loses a game that most coaches would win ie. La Tech and wins a game noone actually expects such as Vandy. But since Vandy should not fire Johnson it will roll on to the next coach which is Fulmer. UT will then go get a great coach that will have them back to being great and us slowly becoming worse.

i'm not say we WILL win but you gotta admit its winnable. we played lsu somewhat close (by our standards) in baton rogue at night therefore we sure as hell better play ut close, especially when you consider we are coming off a good win and the current state of tennessee football.

And their QB will be the best QB on the field. We'll lose by double digits.

one thing UT generally has is an abundance of, is quality linemen.
This translates into a likely loss to me...I'm not set on my opinion on this yet.

Chris Todd agrees. Nick Stephens will have no trouble passing on us, and Arian Foster will probably have his first good game of the year.

I couldn't agree more. Once this guy is settled, it may just turn around.

Nick Stephens will be the random ******* next weekend. He'll put up Peyton-like numbers.

But if the boys have a chance to screw over Josh McNeil, I'll be happy.
