Milt always a favorite. One guy you'd love to sit down with for dinner and a few beers and just talk football or whatever.

What a great read! Thanks for posting. I can't imagine a head coach coming to NU and NOT involving former staff and players like this. Oh...wait...I guess I could...

Love Milty and the fact this staff is so welcoming to former NU coaching greats. Don't know what was said between Milt and Cav. If I could ask Milt to do one last thing for this program, it would be to suggest to Cav the benefits of rotating in non starters to develop talent and depth on the OL.

+1 I'm hoping Cav's policy is temporary and he substitutes next year.

Well Tom hired him. I'm sure they talked once or twice
And the assbag completely ignored everything, and disrespected one of the greatest coaches ever. "More Than Winning" was completely lost on blo blo.

I'd like to see some rotation as well. Sounds like Cav and Tenopir are close and like to go to dinner and so forth. So you would think if there is any sage advice, its being heard and considered. Tenopir did mention he liked the way Cav handled the OL in general or something to that effect.

Much like a lot of fans message boards wouldn't you say?

Just FYI I've been to a few Big Red Breakfasts this year (I know, big time right?) and they've asked several of the guests about the "rotating the OL" controversy and each one has said their teams didn't rotate either. I think the key is to start blowing teams out, THAT is when backups can, and have in the past, gone into the game.

Yup. You should learn from that book and stop trashing a staff that embraces what this place is about, not pine for a clown that trashed the place.
You never have any idea what you're talking about do you? You're wrong, get defensive and make it personal. Pretty obvious esteem issues and I kinda feel sorry for you at this point. Hey, hey....it's not your fault

It is refreshing and disheartening to see that just about everyone from the past staffs has felt welcomed and has embraced the new staff. The sad part is the former head man is still butt hurt about 10 different things so he would rather the new guy fail.
