I've known Tenureplan for 30 years. He's not just a clever pun on your sixpack feed. He's a bulldog, father, brother, uncle and he's my friend. He's been through hell and turned his life around. He's faced his demons and with the help of God overcame them all.

Brad lost his job earlier this year when his employer lost a federal contract. He found a new job but was still in his probationary period when fell ill again. He is facing end stage liver failure and no health insurance. He still has a 16 year old daughter to support and he needs our help.

If you learned how to make Flo and Eddies cheesesticks you owe him a debt of thanks.

I did not ask permission to post this but I hope dawgstudent will let it stay. Below is a link if you can help in any way.

You guys blow me away. It's hard to hold back the tears. I am falling into confusion alot and have been in the hospital all month. I was released yesterday to family supervision to wait on the imminent transplant. While the chances of receiving one is slightly better than 50%, the chances of the table at 48 and mostly healthy otherwise are better tha. 10%. Thank you for the kindness

My brother in law had a liver transplant at UAB I'm thinking 4 years ago now. Takes lots of meds and has to isolate somewhat during flu season or when other things are going around but otherwise does what he wants. Strangest thing, he was a non drinker, never had been a drinker, not obese, and he had cirrhosis.

So sorry you're going through this. I had a family member deal with it not that long ago. It's very tough as you know. Fight on...

Thank you so much all for your generosity. The goal has reached about 40% so far. Outstanding to see all these sixpackers giving to my friend. Please keep the donations coming we are getting closer to the goal every day.

God bless you, I've never made the cheese sticks, but I've felt better for years knowing the option was available. You have my everlasting thanks.

Thanks to all of you who have reached out to send well wishes and donate via cash app. If you do choose to send money that way send me a pm. I know some people would prefer to remain anonymous. Thanks again to everyone who has donated.

Huge scar. Over 100 staples and over 300 disolvable stitches. Yellow skin color gone and pink back. Will be taking massive doses of steroids and immunorepresents for the rest of my life. It is a life though. Thank you all so much for your prayers and donations from those that could. You all have my word I will never touch alcohol again.

Wow. 100 staples and 300 stitches is scary. Glad to hear all the positive movement. I believe you on the alcohol - it's just not worth it. As they say, 'the past has no power over you anymore' - so here's to you moving forward and living a good long healthy life.

We need you back to full strength - we all have a lot of years of State athletics ahead to cheer for (and suffer through) with you.
