Something I like: He is willing to pay his own way to be a part of MSU football. I gotta tell you that feels good.
You can't teach size.
MSU needs size at WR.

Don't know how fast he is, but Balis might be able to help if he is slow. Or he could grow to a TE if his body type allows.
He is a tall kid but 196 lbs seems generous, of course he will fill out some in college. I was not timing him with a stop watch or anything but he seemed to have pretty good speed and I never saw him get caught from behind.

You could do a hell of alot worse for a walkon. I figured he would have had some pretty decent D-1 offers.

walk on option. I never saw the kid play, but I have read very positive comments about him.

I love hearing stories of walk ons who wind up doing great. Manny Gatling is a prime example of a huge asset to our football program. Came to Mississippi State for Chemical Engineering, walked on the football team and ended up starting and having a great season his senior year, and made a huge impact on the overall program.
